Take IMVU picture-taking to a new level!

The Photo booth is a feature available on the IMVU Website and IMVU Mobile. It lets you create awesome photos with your avatar in a wide variety of poses, place it in an unlimited number of backgrounds, and highlight it with scribbles and filters!

How do I access the Photo booth?

To create a photo, simply click on the camera icon on the IMVU Website homepage.

While scrolling, these icons also appear on the upper right-hand corner of the interface:

How to Create an Awesome Picture

Background

First, set a background for your picture. You can choose from the many preset backgrounds provided, or you can upload any image of your own. To clear the background, simply click on the black square next to the Upload button.

If you want to make your avatar bigger or smaller in the picture, you can do so by clicking on the Zoom buttons. You can also reposition your avatar by dragging it around.

Poses

You can also choose from a wide variety of preset poses (6) to give your avatar that in-the-moment look!

Scribbles

Write anything on the picture using the Scribbles option (7). First, set the width of the brush stroke (8), then choose the color you want (9). You can also click the Undo button to clear the most recent stroke, or the Delete All button to clear all scribbles (10).

Filters

Add pizzazz to your picture with Filters (11)! Simply click on each to see how they fit with your whole work.

And finally, when everything is done, click on the Post button (12) and start racking up those likes!
