Can I request for a deceased user's account to be deleted?

We appreciate you looking after your loved one's account through this challenging time, and we would like to express our condolences. IMVU Customer Support is here to help you with this request. Contact us via Help Ticket or Live Chat, and provide the following information:

  • The first and last name of the deceased account owner.

  • A scan or photo of your loved one's obituary, death certificate, memorial card or other documentation confirming that they've passed away.

  • A scan of your ID to confirm your identity and relationship to the deceased.


If your documentation is online, you can attach a screenshot of it.

Note: We will only entertain these requests from the deceased's immediate family members. We cannot let other users log into the account, but we can post a message on your behalf through Feed or private messages. If this is your request, please provide a copy of the message you wish to send as well.
