What is VCORE?

VCORE is IMVU's newest metaverse token that rewards the community for their engagement and will empower users to shape the future of the metaverse. Holders will be able to play, earn, and experience true ownership and rewards of digital assets within the IMVU metaverse.

VCORE is now seamlessly integrated into the IMVU platform and the NFT Marketplace for participation by users who reside in eligible jurisdictions. It appears similar to how VCOIN is represented on-platform today for a seamless in-game experience. Users residing within the United States and Canada (along with other select jurisdictions provided below) will not be able to participate in VCORE for regulatory and legal compliance purposes.

What are metaverse and crypto tokens?

A metaverse token is a crypto token built for the metaverse, and users within it.

A crypto token is a digital asset that can hold real value, and can be securely stored, sent, and received through peer-to-peer transactions globally using blockchain technology.

How does VCORE work on IMVU?

VCORE is now seamlessly integrated into the IMVU platform and the NFT Marketplace for participation by users who reside in eligible jurisdictions. It will appear similarly to how VCOIN is represented on-platform today, for a seamless in-game experience. Like VCOIN, VCORE will be stored on your IMVU account’s digital wallet. Users residing within the United States and Canada (along with other select jurisdictions provided below) will not be able to participate in VCORE for regulatory and legal compliance purposes.

Note: Users who are eligible to purchase VCORE have the option to buy NFT using their available VCORE balance at the checkout page of the IMVU Website. Simply select VCORE as a payment method when buying NFT.

What is a digital wallet?

Your digital wallet is connected to your IMVU account and holds all your VCORE, VCOIN, and IMVU NFTs.

What’s the difference between VCORE and VCOIN?

VCORE is an international exchange-listed token that will empower players to own, participate, and earn in the IMVU metaverse economy. VCORE is intended to provide additional features that VCOIN does not provide to users. IMVU envisions that these features could include rewards for participating in IMVU, allowing users to help shape the IMVU metaverse through governance, on-platform and off-platform rewards, and future possible utilities such as NFT rentals.

What does “exchange listed” mean?

Exchange listed means that a crypto token is “on” an exchange where users can buy or sell (trade) currencies such as VCORE, Ethereum, Bitcoin, etc.

What does governance mean?

Governance really means “voting power”. IMVU envisions that holders of VCORE will eventually be able to vote and provide input on a variety of issues related to the VCORE and IMVU communities, with possible options including development, operation, direction, partnerships, and other issues related to the community. 

Will the price of VCORE fluctuate?

The value will be determined based on market conditions along with various factors and will be subject to change accordingly. When will VCORE be available on IMVU?

On what platforms can I buy VCORE? 

At the moment, the VCORE x Topper integration is only available through IMVU Website. 

What is Topper? 

Topper is a user-friendly payment solution created by Uphold. Topper allows for easy and quick crypto transactions on platforms like IMVU! By integrating Topper into the platform, ALL eligible international users now have the ability to purchase VCORE from within IMVU without having to deal with complicated external crypto wallets and lengthy verification processes. 

How can I get VCORE? 

You can now purchase VCORE right from your VCORE wallet on the IMVU platform through the assistance of Topper. Just follow the steps below.

Note: When you click “Buy” from your VCORE wallet on IMVU, you will be redirected to Topper’s website, where you will need to finish the purchase from there.

Step 1: Click your VCORE balance in the upper right corner (IMVU Website Only).
Step 2: Click "Buy".
Step 3: Enter the amount of VCORE you'd like to buy, then click "Next".
Step 4: Click "Continue" on the Topper website to confirm the amount of VCORE you'd like to buy.
Step 5: Create an account with Topper.
Step 6: Verify your email address.
Step 7: Complete the "Personal Details" section.
Step 8: Verify your Phone Number.
Step 9: Add a Payment Method.
Step 10: Review and confirm your purchase. 

Who will be eligible to participate in VCORE?

Although VCORE is a global crypto token, the sale and purchase of VCORE will NOT be available to any residents within certain countries, including the United States and Canada. A full, up-to-date list of regions where users are ineligible to purchase VCORE can be found here.

What are the benefits of using VCORE?

The IMVU community will be rewarded on-platform for their in-IMVU activity using VCORE. Rewards may include things such as exclusive access to events, special NFT drops, access to special rooms, or other future features in IMVU. Off-platform, IMVU users will be rewarded for holding VCORE with possibilities including voting and governance, partnerships, events, and more.

As the community and interest in VCORE grow, rewards associated with VCORE may also grow and change.

What happens to my VCORE if my IMVU account is banned or deleted?

If your IMVU account is banned or deleted, your VCORE will remain in the wallet associated with it. If you have trouble locating your wallet’s address, please contact customer support.
