Quests are limited-time events where IMVU users can earn an exclusive reward by completing a series of tasks. Quests are only available for a set amount of time and can only be completed when the quest is active. Quests are available on IMVU Mobile (iOS and Android) and Desktop.

Each Quest comes with unique rewards that are kept hidden until you finish all the tasks. While you complete the tasks, hints will help you uncover the exclusive reward you'll get. Keep in mind that some quest rewards are in limited quantities, such as NFT Exclusives. Once the primary Quest reward runs out, any users who complete the Quest after will receive a secondary reward. Also, some quests offer multiple rewards. The more of the quest you complete, the more rewards you will receive!

How do I complete a Quest?
To complete a Quest, you must complete all the tasks outlined in the quest. Some quests require you to complete the tasks in a particular order to complete them. If you have trouble completing a task, use the guide below to guide you through each task.

Welcome Quest
The Welcome Quest is a guided tour designed to help our players learn about the main features of our platform, and it is currently available only on mobile devices. You will have 7 days to complete the Welcome Quest and claim the grand prize. Tasks in the Welcome Quest must be completed in order. The more tasks you complete, the more prizes you will receive along the way.
How do I complete the task that says to get dressed or wear a certain item?
To complete this task, purchase an item from the shop. For any shopping tasks that recommend an item based on a keyword, we recommend purchasing one that complements the quest theme.
Note: If a quest requires you to buy from a specific selection of products, you must purchase one of the products in the collection.
How do I complete the task that says to join a room?
When joining a quest, some may have specific rooms while others don't. If a quest does not have designated rooms, you are free to join any room of your choice to complete this task.
IMVU Desktop & Website Users
When you visit a room, it uses system resources to load the content and maintain the connection. Keeping multiple rooms open can cause poor performance issues, such as slow loading times and lag. To avoid these problems, it is highly recommended that you close the rooms you have visited before moving on to the next task. This will help free up system resources and ensure optimal performance.
How do I complete the task that says to chat in a room?
When joining a quest, some quests may have designated rooms, while others do not. If a quest does not have designated rooms, you are free to send a chat in any room of your choice to complete this task.
How do I complete the task that says to post a picture to your feed with a hashtag?
To complete this task, take a photo of yourself or another user in a room and post it to your feed. We recommend picking a room that compliments the quest theme.
Cool Hint: Include the indicated hashtag for a possible Discover feature!
How do I complete the task that says to send a friend request?
To complete this task, send a friend request to another user. You can send a friend request to anyone to complete this task, but we recommend befriending someone you met during the quest.
How do I complete the task that says to like a post?
To complete this task, like a post from the Feed. You can like any post to complete this task, but we recommend liking another post from the current quest.
How do I complete the task that says to send a gift?
To complete this task, you must send another user a gift. You can choose to gift them an item from their wishlist or send them VCOIN or Credits. Although you can gift anyone to complete this task, we suggest sending a gift to a friend you met during the quest.
Note: Certain quests may require specific gift types, so be sure to read the instructions carefully.
How do I complete the task that says to send a private message?
To complete this task, send a private message to another user. You can send a private message to anyone or by sending a gift.
How do I complete the task that says to Follow someone?
To complete this task, follow another user. You can follow anyone to complete this task, but we recommend following someone you met during the quest.
How do I complete the task that says to save a new look or outfit?
To complete this task, save any new outfit or look in inventory or shop.
If it’s recommended to dress up for an event, you're free to choose your own style. However, we suggest you follow the quest theme to make the most of the fun. It's not mandatory to buy anything to save your new look or outfit but feel free to browse the latest fashion items from your favorite Creators.

What are tasks?
Tasks are individual events that make up a Quest. A task is an activity a user can complete, such as purchasing from the Shop or chatting inside a designated room. Some quests require tasks to be completed in a particular order with one task unlocking the next. Please review our Quest Guide for hints and suggestions if you have trouble completing a task.
Are Streaks different from Quests?
Yes, Streaks are different from Quests. Streaks give you Promo Credits for logging in; whereas, Quests give you rewards for completing tasks.
Streaks can only be achieved by logging in consecutive days. You can see all available or upcoming Streaks in your Daily Rewards section, which are currently only available on mobile.
Quests consist of a series of tasks with a variety of rewards. Quests are available only for a limited time and have unique rewards associated with each. You can just turn on your notifications to be notified of upcoming Quests.
How do I complete a Quest?
Every Quest is made up of a series of tasks. To complete a Quest, you must complete each task’s activity before a Quest ends. Please review our Quest Guide for hints and suggestions if you're having trouble completing a task.
Do I have to complete tasks in order?
It depends on the type of Quest. Some quests require completing tasks in a specific order to progress and earn new rewards along the way.
Does it matter which platform I start and complete the Quest on?
No. As long as the Quest is active, you can start the Quest on any of the available platforms and your progress will be saved to complete the Quest and claim your reward before it ends.
Note: Some quests are exclusive to mobile. If a quest is not listed on desktop, it's only available on mobile.

I completed a Quest but didn’t receive an NFT. Why not?
NFT Exclusives are exactly that – exclusive! Not all Quest rewards will include NFT Exclusives, but if it does, only a certain quantity is available to users who completed and claimed their reward. All other winners will receive free Promo Credits once all NFTs are gone. You can check your Credits Balance Log to see if you have received the free Promo Credits.
I didn’t receive my Quest reward. What do I do?
Uh oh! If you didn’t receive your Quest reward, double-check that you’ve successfully claimed your reward within the Quest. Rewards are not automatically added to your inventory. You must tap the 'Claim Reward’ button within the Quest interface. The reward must be claimed before the Quest ends. You will not be able to claim the reward once the Quest is closed.

How long are Quests available?
Quests are available for a limited time on IMVU and typically last for several days. However, each Quest is unique and has a different time allotted for completion. To stay updated on new Quests and their deadlines, turn on your mobile push notifications.

I was halfway through a Quest. Can I complete the remaining tasks for a reward?
In order to receive a Quest reward, you must complete the Quest and claim the reward in the time allotted. If you do not complete all tasks while a Quest is live, you are not eligible to receive the Quest reward.
How do I claim my limited edition reward?
Once you have completed all tasks within a Quest, you must complete one final step to claim your reward. Within the Quest, select ‘Claim Reward’ to place the item in your Inventory. Quest rewards can now also be claimed from the Activity Center.
NFT rewards may take up to 24 hours for the reward to appear in your Inventory. You can also check your VCOIN Wallet to see if the NFT was granted.
I tried to complete a Quest, but an error occurred. What should I do?
Uh oh! If you experienced an error, we recommend closing and restarting your app and making sure that you have a stable internet connection. All completed task progress will remain, but if you are having trouble restarting an active Quest, please contact our support team for help.

How long does it take to complete a Quest?
The length of Quests varies, both in tasks required and how long it may take a user to complete. Users can see their progress at the top of each Quest and how many tasks are required to earn a reward.
The time it takes to complete a Quest will vary by user, but the time allotted for each Quest is visible within the Quest. Users will have several days to complete most Quests.
Can I win a Quest Outfit Challenge?
Yes! Every Quest outfit challenge will have one (1) winner that will win 10,000 Credits. We will also feature nine (9) additional runners-up! The IMVU team will select featured users 24-48 hours after a Quest ends. Featured users will be shared on Discover, social media, and our blog. Stay tuned for our Hall of Fame coming soon.
How do I win a Quest Outfit Challenge?
To have a chance to win a Quest Outfit Challenge, you must enter the Outfit Challenge using #OutfitChallenge. Your outfit must match the theme of the Quest in order to be considered. Winners will be selected 24-48 hours after a Quest Outfit Challenge ends.
