Bad decisions changing the tier program, to show it was a good idea to create numbers because it wasn't happening they brought in this, because they don't want to answer questions or admit anything we will continue to come up with our theories, which is more damaging.

That's just the thing, though - they chose specifically to require VIP when they could have just made up from whole cloth some bs processing fee. I'm still half-convinced that this has something to do with some executive in charge of VIP trying desperately to shore up sagging VIP subscriber numbers to justify his position.

Hey IMVU,

A company first provides and offers something new and then ask to be paid for it.

You could easily make up something to take money without forcing VIP.. You could do it like second life saying we will process your money faster so we will take a $5 fee. No you had to come up with something that is nasty showing you have no knowledge of business and no respect for your own business and employees. Remove the VIP crap and put a fee for faster processing payouts. A company first provides something and then ask to be paid for it.

I lost my trust in IMVU. I have been here since 2007. IMVU this is the lowest you have been in my eyes. You are telling me I have to pay you so I can withdraw my money? This is theft.

I'm a grandfathered veteran creator. From complete upset and care for my fellow creators that are forced to pay for VIP to create, I decided years ago to make my last item. It was really fun back then with quality (not quantity) items to enjoy, the nice, true friendships we made, the hilarious (make you cry) chats and sense of community. We liked being here. The items being pumped out now are really embarrassing and does nothing for Imvu's reputation. It's become more like a bunch

of contests now instead of the financially equal social chat game it once was.

Due to hand surgery, I missed the "memo" on converting to cash payments and not all of us are here all the time. Life happens. It should be extended until December 31st, 2023 to be fair and announced "way" ahead of time.

Creator Agreement: I only ever signed up for the original agreement which even if virtual, is a binding contract between two parties, legally. We would never pay to work for a restaurant, hotel, or even Wally World (huh?) nor anywhere else, just for some examples. I suspect this is happening to make up for losses incurred with the advent of the imvu studio project, which must have been a hefty price, but to attempt to recoup monies from those that made you is completely unjust and sad. I've said before on these boards, marketing needs vast improvement here. Many of us have multiple creator accounts we opened and it would be advantageous to all if the following suggestions could be implicated:

1-Make creating free to all again, no VIP

required on one nor any of our accounts,

allowing both parties to make money

again. OR, players choose to pay for VIP

monthly and "solely" for the GREAT room

bundles we used to receive monthly, as

our choice, not forced. (Creators gain,

IMVU recoups, win, win)

2-Make creating quality items the "main"

focus of earning again, not tipping,

streaming, hosting etc. which I think is

silly anyway. Why? When creators drop

tiers, it makes them feel inferior, don't

understand it, but there are younger

creators here. It creates a pressure tank.

3-Stop putting more money into studio and

keep updating client as we all wanted in

the first place. Next wasn't warmly

accepted either (but made some creators'

computers heat up).

4-Create a voting forum where the creators

actually vote or agree on decisions that

affect them without moderators just

closing comments when the going gets

tough. No offense, mods.

5-Choose a mediator, not a moderator to

act as a go between creators and CEO.

•Instead of continuously losing players and creators, please consider the extreme long hours and hard work, income and personal time given up. It can benefit both parties again greatly if we can "make imvu great again!" Oops, wrong choice of words?

Hey @Zachainn​ , IMVU has not taken any accounts away from anybody, as stated by Rigsk, You can still create from your many many accounts. Thanks, Lee :)

This message is for Grandfathered Creators with linked accounts. Starting now, August 2023, earnings from linked accounts can be set up to funnel into your VIP account. If you would like to funnel your linked account earnings into your VIP account, please open a ticket with the Earn Money team here https://help.imvu.com/s/contactus. Be sure to provide your VIP account and linked account names. You can also contact our team via chat (see instructions).

A few reminders:

• This benefit is completely optional. You are not required to funnel your earnings into one account.
• Once you funnel your funds into one account, the main account with VIP will have a new MASA calculation.
• If the combined accounts still have less than $500 MASA, that $500 label would remain the same. However, the actual payouts would increase. If the combined accounts have more than a $500 MASA, the MASA label would show an increase and the payouts would increase. Please request payouts in accordance with your MASA.
• If you link your accounts for the payouts, you will need to check per product to see how much each account earned.
• Earnings from before the accounts were linked will remain in the separate accounts The current system for payout requests would apply to those earnings.

Try live chat help. I had the same problem and the agent was able to escalate my case. Within a couple of days my accounts were linked.

Indeed. BTW, the account Cymry wishes to link with is this one. Lots of rain dancing on our end, and no rain in sight.
