@Sylaraia What the heck you talking about thier is no cival matter and never was, so was no reason for her to speak to me in a cival manner as i never once asked her for her advice on any cival matter or lawyer advice either, nor have i asked you for any of yours and i am sure i already stated that ,and i sure as heck do not need her or your advice on any law or cival matter , you both are making it sound like i was asking for advice pertaining to a cival matter like i was taking imvu to court and already fuled a law suit against them ,it was never my intention to ever file any law suit agaisnt anyone , my goodness i merily just made a comment as to how the laws can be and about contract law not sure even how it works were you are but were i am the laws maybe diffetn then yours and hers as well . so that is also something to take into consideration right thier , and you both seam to like to jump on me for every thing i try and say here , so time to back off already , you want the last words ill give it to you you can keep comenting on eveything i say all you want to you will no longer get any reaction from me , i am done comenting about anything to this form to one track minded people on here who asume false information is being said,

@Erieann​ So you read my post to respond and not really listen to what I was saying. My comment about making minimum wage is just that the fact that the amount that most creators are making is below the minimum wage amount that someone who has a minimum wage job. My comment about the amount is not about legal process. I was stating that anything can be challenge in court of law regardless of the contract that's the fact That I was stating. I didn't say anything wrong in my comment because I was not stating that we are employees. The fact is when people are saying they are only able to cash out 50 dollars every 30 days. That is below what someone with a minimum wage job is making. Problem with most of artist these days Is we always feel we can not fight for are worth. That is not true and regardless what the law states. Many laws change when people stand up and make a movement and challenge that is a fact. So laws are always changed when people fight for their rights. Independent contractors win lawsuits all the time that also a fact. But people need to read to listen to what people are saying. Not everything is a need of correcting if you just really read and understand what someone is saying and not reading to correct something. Because that's what causes all the arguments in this thread with other creators. The point of posting in here is to speak up for are self's and support each other. Most of us have been doing this for way over 20 years like myself. So we already understand legally what we can do on are own end. We all have common sense we all understand if you been doing this that long and on other platforms and file tax's then you know you are independent contractor. You don't need someone to try to correct and educate you on what you already know. I appreciate your responds. Please have a great day.

Thank you kindly, for the replies. Maybe this will be clarifed at some point in time. Yes, I am in agreement as far as "funneling" now. No sense in being in line for the first who catch the snags. LoL

The only information that is wrong is the minimum wage thing. We are independent contractors, not hourly employees. The Department of Labor has already stated many times that there are no federal or state laws that protect independent contractors because there is a written agreement that both parties must agree to and sign in order for any payment to be made or accepted. So it would go to small claims or civil court at that time which with proven court cases regarding payment on independent contracts usually are not successful.

That's not true you can even use text message agreements and they can hold in the court of law. E signature stand just like physical signatures.

We all electronically agree to the terms to have access to create. But the agreement can still be challenge in the court of law. You would have to consult a lawyer and see what argument they could have with the agreement on your behalf. Just because something is writing and you agree to it does not mean it can't be challenged in the court of law. The way IMVU pays out to us is way below minim wages. All those things will be taken in considerations in the court of law. I at the point where I don't care what they do with my shop or sales on here no more. Its old stuff I stop creating my quality of work surpasses the stuff that in my shop on IMVU. I know how to work the new system they have because it is similar to the things we do on second life. But I am smart enough to not bring that level of quality to IMVU. I will never because I will get cheated in my profit here. It was hard for me to walk away from my shop years ago. But I am glad I did it because I don't have to put up with their new policies any more. I don't have a emotional tie to my IMVU shop that they bank on using against us creators to strong arm us into things. It still hurt to see all the creators that this is effecting people telling IMVU how little they are even getting form their sales. IMVU does not care they never will care. This is how they do business. But many adults do not even play this game no more because they can't do adult things. Like have real intimacy and give real child birth. Walk and move realistically. Talk on mic etc. IMVU does not offer enough to keep adults with money interested in their platform. They are always so cheap in the stupid upgrades which are not really upgrades. Some been here since 07 and what real improvements has been made none. We still have the same junkie client. Even with mobile its the same thing just standing there. It is 2023 and we still have to click dots to get around with are avatar. Even the ones that feel they need to stay for all the reason they choose is going get tired of the tactics and find someone else to go with their talent. All the things they promise we have we do not have the VR features they talked about the UNITY developers making more games. That don't seem to be prospering at all. The only change is they want to have material enable to make things look more realistic but they don't want to let are avatars move around like real people. I feel the best thing most creators can do that are going to stay is not give them your best work anymore. Don't make material maps give the same quality you been giving them that really fits their junkie virtual work they created. They do not deserve HD textures or material enable products with the shine and the gloss they don't deserve that level of quality work from no creators here because they not willing to pay for it. They do not deserve they high detail realistic meshes from mesher because they are not willing to pay you for it. Give them simple start giving them what they feel you worth. If I was deciding to stay here and put up with this bs. That exactly what I would do give them what they show me my worth was and not give them high quality. I would give them simple mesh simple texture work and no material enable products ever. I wouldn't cont. to help upgrade the esthetics of they site no more. I would give the bare minim. Because they give us the bare minim when they pay us all the time.

@LestatDeLioncourt​ I also havent seen that answered yet. Im not going to funnel mine I guess I really dont see the point, except it would make doing payouts 5 mins quicker - I am scared it would get screwed up tho.

Also UPDATE: I got paid. So submitted and in 2 days paid. Everything went smoothly....whew!

@N3rdyGirl​  Aye. If I remember correctly, I did have to reagree to the updated agreement. I remember well that most of us were worried how long the grandfathered status would last. At least we got 11 years before they started making any changes.

I agree they should have bottomed out those that didn't agree to the new contract terms. That was hard earned money and shows them disregard by changing the cash into credits. They also should have sent the memo out to every grandfathered account regardless of earning status because who knows, maybe one of those creators may have changed their mind about what they wanted to earn and they would have gotten a pretty big slap in the face. Thankfully @QBL​ posted about it somewhere else so I got the notification of it.
