@Polystyrene yes i joined back in 2010 but cant remmeber exactly when i signed the creater agreement not long after i came onto imvu i started creating that same year as far as i can remember . sorrt i missunderstood and read your message wrong .i thought you were asking me about when i signed for the creater money program that i signed in june of 20/23 but they did not get back to me until july is when i got aproved for it .

why imvu is still doing this i will never know, they want creators to pay for vip to earn cash, but are still given zero back

@N3rdyGirl​ It will be blocked and you wont be able to withdraw, mine is the same they will turn it into credits, they leave the page to earn money in case you still want to purchase vip sadly it is stuck behind a paywall.

I only have one account - my account did not reach the $50 minimum until a few days after July 1. My understanding of the announcements was that we were given an extra month to zero out our accounts. This seems confirmed since my account was still set to earn money until I changed it yesterday.

I put in a ticket to have the last amount withdrawn.

I also know that big corporations are able to use your social security and social inchurance numbers to stake claimes on it from the treasury , big corporations and crooked goverments do it all the time .

@polystyrene actually i never got it signed until june almost the end of june by the time they decided on it i applied last year but i got the runaround about my signature supose to be verified by adobe and i sighned the w8-ben for on adobe with my signature they claimed it was not good enough then also wanted my tin number or my social security number witchi reside in Canada not the United States and i am not a corporation nor do i own a busisnes or big corporation , as for the adobe signature thing to get it verified thye ask that you pay for it as well as have a buissness acount so after that big runaround i got i gave up and tried again i was gettign the runaround again until i explained to them about the signature verification thing and i also sent them my social inchirance number as well when i was told not to give it to them by a friend who works for a law firm said becasue i am a canadian i do not have ot give them that information and i dont have a tin number either .but if i had not done it they would of refuzed me once again .

@Promoted​ It is bull### i have 50 dollars sitting to be cashed out and can't, by the time i pay tax, convert to pounds and pay vip hardly anything left, so i am going to let it sit their as a reminder on just how far imvu has gone to destroy its creators earnings.

I am not going to even request for it to be changed into credits, so it can be laundered back into the game. I am lucky is only a small amount, i am just so angry imvu has done this but on every mention they say how they value us.

If you signed the creator agreement before May 20, 2012 then your account is grandfathered. You will need to buy a VIP subscription for that account in order to earn money or receive cash payouts. It doesn't matter if you only have one grandfathered account.

I still never recived a answer from the last message i put out about what about the people who have one grandfather acount only, and do not have other imvu acounts that are Grandfathered in , and what do they even classify as grandfathered, from what year does it start to make you a granfathered in acount , my time in here is precious and as well as everyone else who has put lots of it into this place to try and make a earrning that dont seam to pay worth the dam to begin with, but it gets sad when it robs peter to pay paul all the time here and now with this MASA thing it feels more like robbing peter to pay peter back , and the fact that i just recently applied for the recieve money acount and just got accepted i have noticed i am getting more sold items being paid for by promotional credits than i ever have before as well as several fraudulant reversals in my message box back to back in one day, i would say if they expect us to pay every month for something most of us dont need or will ever use for that matter then they need to make some drastic changes here especially on these fraudulant reversals as well as the promotional credit thing ,make it so if thier using promotional credits then we still get paid for it regardless , other wise its more of a huge loss to us and on our time as well here making products for nothing, and the only one i see gaining here all the way around is IMVU not us and that needs to be changed. i did some research in how much IMVU pulls in one year they make over 5 million to 8 million a year from our work plus they get paid on all the advertising and the adds that are put out when you dont own a vip and you get those pesky adds all the time on the product page ,thier actually making more from that than if you had a vip so makes really no sence to me to bring in a drastic change on people who dont want it or cant afford it. i would really like to see them finally make things right for the creater here for a change and not always nickel and dime everyone so they can never get ahead of the game .

Thats a mild way to put it. I feel more like it was taken away tho. I invested so much money into imvu and feel like my grandfathered status was rightfully earned. Imvu gets more than half of everything i did and do already and continuing, its far from fair to paywall an essential feature.

There is no gain and only loss in converting it to credits. I only have two ways to work with them after that. Using it to create more products and generate more credits and/or spending it in someone elses shop where imvu again will take its percentage and maybe, hopefully someone gets a fraction of money. Essentially milking the cows blood.

So earning/converting credits is outright a direct insult.

Not from you tho! @Meeows​ please know that i'm not directing my harsh/bitter words at you. You do what you can to answer to us. All hard feelings from me are reserved towards the ceo and everyone who thought this would be a great idea and i'll pray for karma to come.

So, resulting from that, i won't even be able to make a final withdrawal of my already earned money? It will just sit there?

I can't even take my stuff properly off the market. Sure, i can hide my catalogue. But i live off of derivations -and derivations of derivations- and they won't go anywhere soon.

It can not be right to continue selling someones work and not compensate them for it.

Because thats what it is with no way to convert credits to vip and therefore actual money.

if you just send a ticket in general they have no clue what is that.

I'd recommend you make use of the free month of VIP by using the Chat Now feature. It's a lot faster because the person on the other end is forced to ask someone wtf is going on rather than sandbagging you through email. Poly got her own problems expedited by doing that.

How are we supposed to link accounts, VIP chat said file a ticket, Filed a ticket, then said don't know what you are talking about. Each ticket that opens for this request disappears. What gives?

@Vorvolaka​ I don't have an explanation for that observed behavior (yet!). I'm doing my best to keep up and answer questions while RigsK is out. But I will try to find out an explanation and will share here once I get it. :)
