Is anyone else seeing a drastic drop in sales over the last couple of months? I'm down by $1-200 a fortnight on what I used to earn. This is way more than usual fluctuations. I'm worried.

@DONATELLA That's, unfortunately, the same thing many folks are asking themselves..."what do I do?" Since IMVU hasn't really responded to anyone's concerns it seems everyone is left to their own devices. Find your own liferaft and swim away or stay here and get swallowed up by the undercurrent. It's really dependent on how much you're willing to sacrifice. IMVU has sacrificed nothing, meanwhile, creators are once again taking the hit for IMVU's business decisions. Decisions that will make them money and leave creators scratching their heads. I've said it before and I'll say it again, they do not care because if they did, something would have been done to correct the problem by now. This was an issue before Polystyrene posted this question and it really sucks.

Apparently it was because of good management and a switched on marketing team that we made money during a once in a 100 year pandemic when everyone stayed home and online for year... But this year things are down because people are back at work like they were pre-pandemic and moneys tight like it was when previous management took this site from and 5 million a year business to a 50 million one. IMVU business has dropped significantly, please note its of absolutely no fault of staff and management... its those pesky customers and economy.

Mine never improved, just kept slowly dropping lol. No panic on my end, I expected those who actually put effort into their products to get pushed to the back while the catalog gets saturated in NCD, stolen products, and dumbass promo credits.

After a few weeks of being relatively stable I'm dropping again. Starting to panic now. Are other people seeing this?

I'm embarrassed to admit I spent WELL over $300 on credits in 2021 just to keep creating because my sales weren't even enough to support my creating habit and that's on top of what I paid for VIP. I was spending more as time went on in the year so this has been going on (the decrease in sales) for a while now but it picked up speed this year and I refuse to pay to make things anymore just so IMVU can make money. I'm done. My 10-year anniversary was a week ago and my VIP runs out next month. The only reason I'm not madder than I am is that I've made some really wonderful lifelong friends while I was here and we'll continue on elsewhere. With all the changes IMVU is making (not for the better) it only makes sense to take our $$ somewhere else. They can have their freeloader customers who click ads to make them money and disappear before they even set up a profile. Half of the creators now aren't even creating, they're just doing ZCDs all day long so the catalog will eventually be filled with nothing but duplicates. It's really very sad.

Every day i hope to see my sales to get better.Just the contrary. They keep sinking. Its getting worse and worse.
I lost maybe 70% of my sales.(not talking about the income - it sank with the sales anyway). It so depressing and demotivating.
No idea what to do anymore.Whats the point to keep creating???

This is honestly so depressing, my account is practically non existent now and it overall feels like an absolute waste of time to even try to create.
Realistically, is it time to move on?
I've seen so many of the biggest names move on to a different site, some haven't even uploaded since.
Creators with page 1 products stating they receive up to a 70/30 ratio on promo credits.
We are practically just giving away anything we do for free.
I think IMVU knows the shop is packed therefore creators aren't the life blood that we used to be. Do they really need new products anymore?
I've actually not heard ANYONE state their sales are the same/better. Every single person I have spoken to has seen a decline of some sort.
I'm just not seeing it get any better. I really think IMVU may have reached its game over for it's creators.

My products are priced with a standardized price-line to be competitive but profitable.
Look at sales for June to July in 2015. Promo Credits were about 17% of my sales.
Look at sales for June to July in 2019. Promo Credits were about 21% of my sales.
Look at sales for June to July in 2020. Promo Credits were about 24% of my sales.
Look at sales for June to July in 2022. Promo Credits were about 38% of my sales.
The real Credits earned has declined in direct proportion to the Predits given.
This says a lot on it's own.

I never ever seen this much promo credits sales in my 12 years working here!! I checked my sales report as I check every single day, the amount of promo credits sales is insane, I check each customer, 90% are guests, mostly all of them don't even have a home page, that means they sign in just to get the promo credits, spend it, then sign off!! This is a joke imvu!
