Is anyone else seeing a drastic drop in sales over the last couple of months? I'm down by $1-200 a fortnight on what I used to earn. This is way more than usual fluctuations. I'm worried.

Its still down 85% what trickles in is promos...just had 20 sales ALL promos. For weeks unable to change rooms now as of yesterday cant even enter my own rooms ONLY room it allows me to enter is the hideous princess room. The feedback im getting from my customers are very negative, they are leaving in droves. Its very upsetting for us veterans to see this place being undone from the inside.

Hey @gaf210 My sales are Up from 60 days ago. They are up about 25% from this mid to end of summer. This is still very low compared to a few years (3 or 4) back.

How are yours doing, @gaf210 ? :)

How many years has Vu existed now and how many logic defying decisions have we seen various CEOs make that at the time further confounded us by the fact that the company still got showered with money? I think a lot of those awful decisions have finally had an accumulative effect that's come home to roost - and the #1 bad decision was IMVU was used as a cash cow for other bad investments for the last decade rather than pouring the profits back into the company to build (or just fixt) it. The most bizarro of all decisions was - they spent a decade building another social media app, and then apparently took none of that labor and applied it to their own app. What the actual eff?

Actually, @sea... So far, my sales are up about 15% to 20% from last month. I attribute this to the normal rise for the "Fall Festival Season" (Halloween). For the past years, I have seen anywhere from 10 to 25% rise. This year seems to be a "normal", mid-range percentage, rise in sales.

The ZCSs topic is offtopic.

But to answer your question, even if I don't do ZCDs, I have never been against ZCDs.

To me a decorator is a creator. A texturer is a creator. A modelor can be a creator when he's not just copying what others made in the first place. And even whjen he does it, with the pradigm of the derivation chain, and the value added derivators can bring, the whole chain is a creator.

And finally, a ZCDs if he's adding values like icons and if he's representing his collection to a public in a way or an other is widely participating in the creation process.

Even IMVU could be considered a creator. Couldn't it ? Anyway, being a creator is all about the value added, the energy spent and the way that energy is materialised.

Now your question about the way "creators" should be rewarded is communism to me. The reward should be a natural consequence of a value added as it's perceived by the customers.

I'm spending at least half of my time with customers showing them my work and communicating with them. And this proximity with my customers is also often what participates in initiating the creation process. The creation process is a complex one that always bring different competencies in the game. And meeting customers enlight in the creation process the network of other specialists I'm gonna have to contact to come up with the new idea that poped up. In the new testament of the Bible, even God was facing Christ before time existed. Painters used to call some of their encounters muses. It's an extreem of the paradigm. To me each encounter has a purpose in the creation process in a large meaning and it's the encounter with others that really makes the creator.

Things are a little lean on my end. It has been a little difficult with some expenses I have had irl. Tbh, even if IMVU is no longer viable as a good source of income, I will still likely do it as a hobby still since it is a passion of mine as long as other things in life do not interfere. I have lived on lean times before. Going to definitely have to make some cut backs.

I do see a lot of users that make accounts to spend the promos and then make another when they want to change style. I do somewhat like the idea of the daily spin since it at least gives incentives to come back and keep using the same account to build up. With one account they may be more invested in it and may decide to spend money for credits instead of waiting for spins to add up to get their outfits.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what you mean by "spreading revenues to regular users" but there are creators who are only PRO because they spend their time doing ZCDs and aren't actually creating. Should they reap the same benefits as the creators who actually create and don't just repost someone else's work?
