We’re pleased to announce that you can now receive assistance from Customer Support for login issues without needing to create an alternate account. Simply fill out the form that opens when you submit a ticket in the Community Center while logged out. This form is exclusively for support with login-related issues. Good evening, the reason for my message is because when I created my account I did it through Facebook, now I want to change it to Gmail to secure it more since I have progress and have invested and when I want to change it to Gmail they send me a message to confirm a Yahoo email to which I do not have access, I would like to see how I can solve that so I can change and secure my account in a better way.

That's a relief, as I've recently had two incidents (for the first time in 17 years as an IMVU user) which seems to indicate that 1/My account was stolen (twice in the span of a few weeks) for a purpose I haven't ascertained yet (and I'm deeply grateful to Angel from Customer Support who helped me get it back the second time). 2/ Some very suspicious-looking accounts (their names and profile bio) which look like they're in the business of selling IMVU followers or something of the sort, seem to have started following my account and interacting with it just around the dates my account was compromised (both times). They probably have something to do with the hacking of my account, in spite of the fact I'm not using a weak password, not sharing my account with anyone. It seems they had changed my email address in the account as Customer service stated they had to change it back to restore my access. This may be a mass issue on this platform rather than just an individual issue. Let's hope something can be done internally to lower the odds of this happening to more people.
