IMVU disabled my account permanently without any warning, and I can’t help but feel frustrated and confused about the reason. They claimed that I was “talking to a minor in an inappropriate way,” but here’s the kicker—there was no evidence that the person I was talking to was even a minor. No age verification, no proof, just an accusation with no backing.
It feels like the account ban was handed down randomly, with no real responsibility taken for making sure the right person is punished. It's like they're taking action based on nothing, or maybe even spying on users like me (and probably everyone else) to find reasons to ban accounts.
I’m not happy about this at all. I’ve been a loyal user of IMVU for over 15 years, and I've always made sure to stick to the Terms of Service. I’ve filled out a ticket and am waiting for a response, but this whole process has left me feeling upset. And I'm not alone—I've seen plenty of others on Reddit complaining about the same issues.
It just feels unfair. We should be protected as loyal users, especially those who have been part of the community for so long. I really hope IMVU changes their policies to protect users like me, instead of handing out bans without any clear evidence or warning.
