Mass Gifting is a feature on IMVU, and is not in itself against our Terms of Service. We have a lot of generous Creators who love to proudly gift their latest products to their friends and long-time patrons. This is a good thing.
Sadly, a small set of bad actors are abusing this feature in an attempt to game the system. We have discovered some people who are setting up a large number of fake accounts to gift their products to. This behavior does not benefit anyone, other than the Creator who is attempting to gain a higher ranking in the Catalog or is trying to game the Earn Money system. We continuously try to eliminate the impact of this abusive behavior to protect the overall Creator Community.
Gifting your products to your current or future customers is not against our policies. This is only a problem if the scope is large and recipients are not actual IMVU community members, but fake accounts set up for this purpose.
