How to Share Photos From External Sources

Would you like to share an non-IMVU pic to your Feed? It's easy! Maybe you have a photo in your album that you wish to share. With the Photobooth, you can both upload any picture and add filters and to it.

Note: For these steps, you need to download your picture first. Only pictures saved on your device can be uploaded. For instructions on downloading photos, you may follow steps 1 to 3 in this article.

For Mobile Users: Currently, uploading pictures is not supported by IMVU Mobile. To do so on mobile, open a browser and go to www.imvu.com/next.

STEP 1. Go to the IMVU Website and click the Photobooth icon at the top.

STEP 2. You will see your avatar on the picture. Minimize it by clicking the Zoom Out button three times. Then, drag it out of the way.

STEP 3. You can now upload your picture! Under the Backgrounds tab, click on the Upload (camera) icon.
