How to Leave Group Chats on IMVU

Group Chat is a space where people gather, talk, and make friends, but leaving one may be necessary sometimes.

Here are different ways to leave group chat on IMVU.

On IMVU Classic Website

Step 1. Login to your account in IMVU Classic Website.

Step 2. Go to the Messages tab.

Step 3. Select the group you wish to leave. At the top right of the chat box, click the gear icon and select Delete Conversation. A confirmation message will appear; click Delete to continue. Tick the checkbox to stop receiving future messages in the conversation.

On IMVU Website/Desktop

Step 1. Go to IMVU Website and login to your account.

Step 2. At the upper right corner of the screen, select the message icon and click See All Messages.

Step 3. Hover your mouse over the group conversation you wish to leave, then click the X icon. Select Delete to leave the conversation.

Note: To leave a group conversation without receiving future messages, follow the steps of leaving group chats on IMVU Classic Website.

On IMVU Mobile

Step 1. Launch your IMVU Mobile App and login to your account.

Step 2. At the lower part of your screen, tap on the message icon. Slide your finger to the left over the group conversation you wish to leave or delete.
