If you come across an ad in the IMVU Mobile app that seems inappropriate, misleading, or disruptive, you can report it directly from your device. Reporting helps us and our partners keep ads safe and enjoyable for everyone.
When to Report an Ad
You should report an ad if it:
- Shows inappropriate or offensive content
- Looks misleading, deceptive, or unsafe
- Disrupts your experience or doesn’t function properly
Steps to Report an Ad
- Shake your device: While the ad is playing, shake your phone (flip the screen down twice).
This is called the “Rage Shake.” It activates the ad-reporting tool. - Tap the AppLovin logo: A small blue AppLovin logo will appear on the ad. Tap it to open the reporting menu.
- Submit your report: Tap Report and follow the prompts to explain the issue.

What Happens After You Report
- Details about the ad (such as its ID and source network) are sent to our ad partners.
- The ad network reviews your report and may remove or fix the ad.
- While you might not get a direct reply, your report helps us improve the ad experience for all users.
