Well with these new updates and images, I know for sure that all popular bodies are MCG manipulated, some of them more, some of them less. People now also look into the boobs only, but it is not all about boobs, the bottom parts are also MCG manipulated... there is a body with small boobs (kinda everyone now is seeing only big boobs as a problem and if they didn't use big boobs mesh bodies they are safe, no-no) and when you compare it with the new MCG update you will see it is also MCG manipulated. All in all, there is almost no newer mesh body that isn't MCG manipulated - either the top or bottom part can't fit into the "reasonable manipulation".

There was an issue with delta body, and I have to agree, that MCG manipulation was way too much to accept products as GA. Still that extreme case can't be compared with other mesh bodies that we have been using for years. - Maybeee, only "leaking out" boobs but that also depends on where the cut is.

Hide age option is available only on 18+ accounts. Teens can't hide their age. Either way, if age is not verified you still can't know for sure how old someone is, or if that person is an adult - with hidden or shown age on the profile. Teens can create an account that is older than 18, adults can make an account that is younger than 18, or they can just make an account with any year they want. There is no way for you or IMVU to know how old is the person behind each account. Removing the age hide option is not solving anything.

Truth is in fact most kids these days arent even interesteded in this game they says it bad graphics and out dated and the avi's look like cartoons ( and they do). A bad mesh is a bad mesh ive seen a few but why bother with changing things the average age on imvu is 30 +. And if a 30 yo throws a fit about a fit they need to grasp reality u see worse on tv or walking down the street. Spend the time working on better graphics for the avitars and important game bugs.

Should be done away with all together. It's beyond ridiculous. Disney has more skin. What a waste of resources, time, effort and frustration over red pixels. Imvus catalogue is a dogs breakfast.

Pretty sure I know the one you are talking about, and yes it did have a LOT of derives. But it's still just one creator. I'm just saying that most creators don't mess with the mapping in this way. People don't need to be freaking out so much.

I am noticing that a lot of items I look at as potential items to derive from don't have even the correct texture size to match the mask or opacity size. IMVU needs some sort of tool to help us when items are submitted to Peer Review so we can Flag items that are not submitted properly. It seems some newbie creators want the easy way to earn credits and don't care about MCG Guidelines or anything.

I don't think the age of people should be able to be hidden. I think imvu should remove the fact that the age can be hidden. Why make the site for a certain age and up but they have the whole option to hide the age...i say remove that option so everyone age will be required to be seen....this will cut down on who we allow in our clubs/rooms...if we can see the age, then people who are underage can be removed/booted out the room. I see alot of people hiding there ages on this site. I am 53 years old on this site...so yea i go to adult rooms but who else is the adult? we don't know bcuz ages are hidden. I think removing the option for ages to be hidden will make a huge difference on this site.

@Polystyrene​ Unfortunately, this is not true. One of the most popular meshes has had nearly all of its derives re-rated due to this. I'm happy to share which one if you'd like to inbox me.

Do we need to go over and edit the old products we made with the with the old MCG? If so, that would be too much work. You should make it a point that only products made after these announcement will be covered. Exclude the old ones.

I don't think this is going to have as much of an effect as people think. The products being targeted with this rule are the ones that are clearly trying to evade MCG rules. Most meshers don't manipulate the mapping that much.

Suggestion: IMVU employee should approve all original Mesh in respect to MCG so ppl that derive from original Mesh would feel safe knowing this was approve. With all the updates that you’re making to Studios once an MCG is manipulated why not automatically flag it to AP therefore there’s no room for error. This would put everyone at ease.

*Friends an family* I always use the MCG pose for making my items an i am grandfather old, and your right the old-timers should be using it an not just passing their items without checking for the peer page. but long as you all are checking it shouldn't be an issue for your items. and checking an flagging is a no no to me just save the item in your wish list then contact the owner that's what i do an many are really cool about redoing the problem without you making it hard for the owners to take down their items an we do not get out money back from the flags, just saying. I want to let you all know flagging is a mean things if the product isn't bad. skip it if you dont want to rate let someone else be fair.

here's a concept..separate the under 18's from the adults-period. 2 diff games on 1 platform -there was a penguin game that did that -so y not here? ..there's no reason we should have adults & children on the same rp game anyway. & stop pretending this isn't a sex game, it's ridiculous & hypocritical. almost my entire shop is ga, i like it that way, i like to be able to go to a room & post pics. i also like sexy clothes. i don't make huge falling out boob items, but how do i know this isnt' gonna lead to my having to change 1/2 my shop because u've changed the rules?

thank you so much for showing me in detail how to flag manipulated items, lol as you know i have been just sending you links to masses of them for a very long time. i am happy to understand now. i just want imvu to be fun for the whole family, and if we do not wish to see AP we should not have to, thank you for your help

Hey IMVU, it is time you start using AI (artificial intelligence) to solve problems like that instead of asking us to help you or watch out for messed up meshes because you "take this matter seriously to protect both [y]our Creators and users." Take some responsibility instead of putting it on all creators. Use an AI to go through the whole catalog and close or flag or do whatever that needs to be done. It will probably take a few hours or less. It is not our responsibility, it is yours.
