We know that as of late, there has been questions and confusion regarding MCG manipulation. What is acceptable? What crosses the line...etc.?
To help address this, we've created an initial Guidelines document that we hope will help.
Please give it a read and then provide us with any feedback/questions you have below - so that we may address them and continue to add to and update information that will guide your fabulous creations down the right path!
Also reasonable manipulation is more coverage what would be the point in that !!!

Hello @EMpulse ,
so with new MCG rules, how is IMVU planning to solve existing or old product situations? Re-rating all products that were submitted years ago is not a fair move by any means. Why IMVU didn't open a special department that will check new body mesh submissions to save us from this situation? It is not okay to expect us to re-rate hundreds of our products or hide them after things were allowed to happen. Please, you can't just update the rules and behave as if you haven't seen the situation for this long, and now when you finally see it - let's punish every mesher and creator on the platform.
New rules are here, and yes they should be followed and respected which I am sure they will be by most of the creators, still post that you made does not explain things well and we are standing now in the dark not knowing how we can correctly adapt to the new rules.
I agree with @Ayame would you please be able to provide us an example of a body that DOES respect new/updated MCG rules? If possible let example be on some newer mesh body since sitting and creating 6, 8, and more hours per day to have 3 sales on some old mesh body is absolutely crazy idea. No one is buying creations that are made on old mesh bodies.
When it comes to new rules and newer mesh bodies (busty bodies) is it enough to just update the MCG map, and make it bigger? Is that an acceptable solution? We need confirmation black on white, so we don't run into another issue in 6 months that again will make creators suffer... With that being said we came to the point where I strongly agree with an idea from @shopdaisylogo why wouldn't you guys provide the correct MCG for us? Make them for us, so we finally know what is safe to use.
What is IMVU planning to do with all mesh bodies (busty bodies) that have been in the shop for years and everyone derived from them? Planning to switch them all to AP, and then also do the same with all derivations (our products)? We (both meshers and creators) need answers!
Here is one idea from me - when it comes to the old products in the catalog, make a promise that they can stay as they are - untouched. Don't punish your creators after allowing these things for so many years. Don't punish your body meshers if you didn't decide that their body submissions were wrong at the time they were successfully submitted and accepted by IMVU.
We need answers! Thank you!

Here is an idea, why not put up mcg skin coverage that is ok for the size of bodies out there, imvu you take the lead, like a size for small medium and big bust, and the same for the bottom part. That way imvu you can take full responsibility for any action instead of leaving the problem to developers to decide. Unless of course you just want to pass the buck and cope out of any responsibility when you decide to move the rules or come back with this guide quick enough. I mean this was asked ages ago, lots of devs i know asked if many of these coverage was ok and they got the all clear. I am not talking about the obvious bad ones but the ones that have heavy breast sizes.

@EMpulse Can you provide us some example of bodies which respect the mcg map right now? According to your guide, there are some old bodies that respect it, bodies made in 2015 or even older, bodies that none uses them. If you give us a guide and after thousand of products will be re-rated, I suppose that you also have a solution, right? Specially that is not the creators fault, but the company's that for all this years it was accepted, and now you change the rules and we suffer. Please provide us a list of bodies that respect the rules so that our shops will be safe and so that we can work without any worries, at lease for a period until you decide to change everything again. Thank you!

When going through peer review, do you think public will know what any of the items come under, hence why grandfathered developers are so important, but i cant see many helping out on this now, the whole of the shops are so messed up. Even when you flagged normal items they don't get changed. Some new developers think the mcg pose a yoga pose and dont even know what the pose is there for. Good luck on this, life has and will be very hard for cs and staff.

Hello,
this comes as a game changer. basically 50% of the items should be AP or removed/hidden. All top pages come with manipulated mcg map.
I think that the guide should include names too, based on 2 stripes and some red areas, you can't notice what body is that. You derive from it and surprise, after some days you get flagged. Or, the bodies that are manipulated, show be AP from start (when the guide started taking place, all bodies manipulated should be AP, right?), and if should know that you derive from AP body not an GA one.
Also, if the body is manipulated but we added a mcg opacity map that is accepted/wider then red area, is this accepted?
And how the one who flags will notice if the mcg/body is manipulated or not?
Thank you in advance
