We know that as of late, there has been questions and confusion regarding MCG manipulation. What is acceptable? What crosses the line...etc.?
To help address this, we've created an initial Guidelines document that we hope will help.
Please give it a read and then provide us with any feedback/questions you have below - so that we may address them and continue to add to and update information that will guide your fabulous creations down the right path!

Another thought if members don't flag anything they will remain unchanged unless of course imvu want to check the shops.

so what do we do with items in our catalog we think may or may not be manipulated out of GA? Take the item back into creator, change the rating to AP which will automatically flag them to customer service and let customer service sort it out?? We are talking about potentially 100,000s of items hitting customer service to be rerated in the next few months ... Is CS ready to rerate all these items ????? or Make larger MCG covers to cover the area we think might need to be covered?? DO we get updated MCG skins for this as guidance... Please stop blaming ppl and give us guidance on how to correct it.

I am waiting with anticipation how peer review members who know nothing about creating is going to make these wonderful decisions on these body shapes and coverage :) Lots of items going through wrong, shops will be filled with ga items that should be ap. @DeadlySin very interesting indeed.

Can we also have a update on textures that have the nipple effect showing on them, you know faint look like the nipples are showing, also while we are at it how a bout a skin color guide chart not to use for mcg, if we are going to tackle this we might as well get all the support from this. We need clear guidance.

As far as I am aware if the room owner is 18 years or older minors cant join or see the rooms. Unless they are using a fake account with a fake age.

@sherixo an easy fix to that is place texture over the mesh and enlarge till it fits the opacity in the right places.

This is interesting, one of the most requested feature is "can you manipulate the mcg, to match the others" this means imvu will have to ap a lot of famous shapes around here cant wait for this to unfold.

Hello, I have a first point to pass on to you:
- how do you explain that our derivations are reported AP and validated AP while the mesher has this same DERIVABLE product in GA; Knowing that the MCG opacity has not been changed?
When peers refuse a GA, they don't look at the base mesh?
2nd point:
- Something is missing:
Why for a few months, we have been seeing women with breasts half exposed and overflowing from all the tops (which is not very realistic in life, well not in France...) while you forbid us ALWAYS and AGAIN wearing a thong in GA??? (namely that the thong, in reality, has been in every wardrobe, even among teenage girls, for at least 30 YEARS....!)
Can we evolve a little?
Maybe that would be a good point for people to buy less black marjet, right? and the thong is so much cuter than our old grandmother's panties!

While I'm not actually a creator but someone PR before, I understand this change not only for the sake of IMVU not getting axed by ESRB guideline, but the nature of GA category. I'm a male customer so I can't speak up about female MCG, although i'm agreeing that manipulated it to a tiny spot is gross (sorry). I see a certain product where they make the budge just outright curved that even I can't help but laugh at how does this thing get pass the PR. I think the rule is fine to address, for me is body anatomy reasoning why whatever you expand, the red part should also be expanded as well.
Should IMVU get a new MCG skin? Depending on how much they can reduce coverage while maintaining the General Audience. I will see how they come around with these change.

Just make IMVU 18+ then you won't have to worry about such a thing. Kids shouldn't be on an app with virtual s*x anyway. I think that's more important than stressing about too much pixel skin showing..
