This is an update to the original post, just to make things more clear.
There are two issues going on.
1 - Failed Payout June 6 - We experienced a technical issue with payouts. All payouts were initiated but failed, and the money was put back on each Creator's Earn Money balance. 156 Creators were affected. If you see an issue with your approved payout, please request another payout today and the team will put a priority on processing it.
2 - Mistaken Payout June 7 - if you received a payout on June 7 between 1pm and 2pm Pacific Time those payments were made by mistake. Please don't cash them out. We're working through the issue right now.

Same for me- I had 10 payouts IN already since the 5th. When I got this payment I honestly thought it was one of my payouts only to find out it wasnt. My payouts are sitting unassigned, I have money that dont belong to me, idk what to do. I'm ok waiting on my payouts for a few extra days but I just want to know I dont need to redo anything!

Ok, I just made like 8 payouts, I checked each email and I never got one from IMVU about this. This is frustrating. Even if I did get one how do you give it back??? All the payouts say completed in my paypal. I contacted CS and they can't tell me a thing and I have no Idea which account it was taken from if I had one. I need better help with this.

So what about those of us who put in a request for a payout, like I did on June 5th, who's request is still sitting at "unassigned"?? Is this request just going to "sit there" in some phantom que? Or will it go through the system normally? I don't want to sit here for a week waiting to see if it gets assigned to an agent, only to find out I then have to submit a help ticket and go through all of that BS...have the ticket removed..then resubmit...yada yada.. that could in effect take up to 2weeks or LONGER.. to get my payout, when I've already had to wait 2wks for them to be "authenticated" by IMVU just to get paid in the first place.
SO please, a check for those who have requests in the que..BEFORE this snafu..if they are affected and if so, could we get the proper procedure to go from here, because I haven't received any msgs of payments failing etc, as my payout request hadn't been given to an agent. I just want to make sure it actually WILL get to an agent and not sit there.

@RigsK I also received a payment, however I DID have 10 payouts in so I did not think much about it. I thought I received one and the others would come the next day. I have no clue which acct the money was actually sent to by mistake (even tho it doesn't really matter) I am sending the $$ back but in the email yesterday it said we could reject it. I have looked everywhere on how to reject it and I do not see that option. Am I missing it? Id rather reject than to send back to avoid taxes on that amount but I'm not seeing that option. I will wait for a response before I do anything. Also on my paypal it does say COMPLETE and not Pending. But I never moved the money out of paypal.

I didn't even RECEIVE THIS email, but I've seen multiple people share it around. It's so curious to me though that my Pending Balance just went from 225$ to 150$ all of a sudden. Not even going to give me a chance to try and return the 75$ y'all accidentally sent me? Honestly, I would not send any of this money back. It seems like it'll be deducted from your creator earnings whether you do or don't, considering they've just jumped the gun so quickly. And god knows if you send the money back AND they deduct it anyways from your future earnings, you'll be sent to their terrible ticket filing system and given the run around for god only knows how long before it gets fixed... hell, IF it gets fixed.

Honestly, I'm surprised IMVU hasn't tried to take the work of processing payouts and asked the community to do it for free. It worked for Peer Review.
As it is now, I'm sure they're paying the absolute minimum number of people to do it, which is why it takes forever. Back when there were exchanges (like FurryCredits), we got paid more and faster. Now IMVU has no competition, so if they do a terrible job, there's nothing we can do about it.

Filed a ticket letting them know I had filled out another payment request form.
Received a response and was told "Please request a payout and we will process it right away."
Obviously my original message was not read, and here I am still waiting for my payout to be processed "right away".
My alt is still awaiting a reply, hopefully not with the generic copy paste message I've just received here.
27 hours after this original post was posted is how I found out that my payment didn't actually go out at all, 8 DAYS after I requested it.
I'm still waiting for an email, a message to my IMVU inbox, anything letting me know payment requests had issues.
WHY did this issue suddenly come to light DAYS after the 1st payout of the month?
I am more than annoyed. Waiting for IMVU to send me money is just a gamble at this point.
Payout issues not going through, money being sent out accidently, that is just flat out embarrassing. And a forum post to top it off? A forum via a forum that is.
An apology for the inconvenience is insulting. I am insulted. Not getting paid is not an inconvenience, it is a joke.
Automate the payout system for gods sake. Resources can be poured into that instead of all this unnecessary bloatware being thrown into IMVU.

I got two erroneous payouts. Submitted a ticket. Got a form response. Then today I get the panic email from IMVU saying "Whoops! Sorry we sent you money."
Still trying to guess how they broke the Earn code in such a way that it duplicated payouts from 2015.
IMVU owed me a $60 payout anyway, so I sent back the difference. Wonder how much they're going to eat in Paypal fees over this.

I think it effects more then 85 people.... I got a large one and Gatho got 3 large ones we tried for 2 days to see what it was about as theres no details anywhere - the forums are very hard to navigate through - there was no discussion/explaination till now . As most ,paypal has processed it and fees have been paid on it a lil heads up beforehand would of been nice.
