@pet​ that is the answer, if you want your money you have to pay vip, but if you dont you can dev for free use all your skills and time to make imvu money......

Hi Folks,

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We realize this is a big change for many of you, and we wanted to let you know that we are exploring a few options that will lessen the impact of this new policy, and help affected Creators transition more easily. More details are coming soon.

Also, a few points of clarification:

1. By "legacy Creators" we mean Grandfathered Creators.
2. When this new requirement is introduced, Grandfathered Creators without VIP will still be able to create, submit to their shop and earn Credits.
3. Added 5/23/23 - You will not be able to earn cash or receive payouts unless you purchase Platinum or Diamond VIP. Once you join VIP you can earn cash and receive payouts. You will not lose existing cash balances. They will simply not be available without VIP.

Sorry IMVU, I'm not paying you 120$ a year so I can take out the whole 100$ I earned, I usually can only cash in ONCE a year (100$), WHY would I want to pay you 120$ pr yr to make 100$ pr yr, I'm NOT crazy?!

That's OUR money & I promise, this isn't legal, notice how we got one or two answers... now just shut-up & go away, we'll do whatever we (IMVU) want to do!

I know I'm not a big dev & nobody cares whether I stay or go, but these things are why I quit creating a year ago myself... because just like every other scam you've pulled, you'll probably get away with this one too, but mark my words IMVU, this will be your death knell! ;)

@Invictus​  I better be of Consequence,,,,,, Iam just glad to have most of these very very wonderful creators on other social media platforms.. IMVU might never see them again but I will!! Over the years we have grown a bond that not even greed can break. Besides what does every one always say on this site. RL Comes First.. Iam blessed to have RL friendships with so many of you.

I've been on imvu for 14 years. 14 years of creating, 14 years of putting out content, and 14 years of good times and bad times. I really haven't put any effort into putting anything new out for over a year and even before then my sales didn't justify buying VIP and it certainly doesn't now with this new change in owners and policy. I've outlived all my enemies and the rest are of little consequence. It's time to go out gracefully. The BO$$ has left the building.

So basically, it is already wrong to do this if MASA did not exist, but at least if I did not agree with the changes I would cash out and leave as from July.

But with MASA that option is not possible! You are holding my income hostage.

With this change and MASA implemented you are telling us: Pay 10 dollars a month or we are cutting off your income that you earned years ago. ...Excuse me?

It isn't even about the 10 dollars. It is subscribing to something I do not need or want, paying for something I have no interest in and gives me absolutely no benefit since the features do align with my use of IMVU, which is just creating.

Remove MASA or raise it substantially, give us creator specific features that are actually useful to us, better reports, control over what products people can use promo-credits on, for god-sake find more uses for dev tokens because the fact that you pay us with them and the fact we can't exchange them for anything useful is getting really embarrassing.

You're getting to use our products as a selling point for your platform by gifting them to new users. So we want options in return, it's not that unreasonable!

Is MASA disappearing? Or do we have to pay 120usd (a full years VIP) or more to cash out what we earned a year ago?

This may be legal without taking MASA into consideration, but when you factor in MASA it becomes more questionable.

FACT: I am currently unable to cash out what I make that same month. Baseline is I never agreed to all these changes when I MADE the money I am currently cashing out. And I will not be able to cash out after July even if I made the money a full 6 months prior unless I pay more to IMVU?

ok i have emailed  [email protected] to see if we have had vip in the past and many of us has, if we need it now, as Rigsk has stated in her message But if you never signed up for VIP at all, then you will be required to purchase Platinum or Diamond VIP to receive Earn Money payouts.

IMVU then brought in the grandfathered deal, and many of us signed up to then earn cash.

We helped build up the catalog, and as we grew we helped with a huge amount of knowledge on how to improve things. So can you please clarify that if we had vip in the past that we will not need this. Thank you.
