Woww First they Cut off our shops so those who have over 10k looses all others now, as all people did say to take from every upload and sale is that not enough? Or did you really turn IMVU into a kindergarten and lose all good creators and be left with nothing?

What Risk is not telling you guys. Is if you buy in to VIP it takes your grandfather account status away. So you will have keep paying vip to keep your shop open. See most of us been smart to not buy VIP so they needed to figure out a way to force all the grandfather accounts on to this system of having to pay to create. Risk you need go back to the CEO and tell them every time you guys take the cuts off per sale. That we are already paying for a creating we are not cash mules. We can take are talent somewhere else and take every content we uploaded and leave you with black textures and no meshes and let IMVU figure it out them self. We not going bend for this The grandfather promise needs to be honor and stop trying to trick us out of the promise that IMVU owes us.

@RigsK Does this mean if we had VIP in the past... At any point in time? Example.. Grandfathered account A...... Had Vip from 2008 to 2011. Has not had VIP Since 2011. Does That account have to have VIP again to cash out?

Also @RigsK​ What is IMVU's reasoning behind the change? We already derive from IMVU, so they already technically claim part of our pay-outs anyway. Why do we need to suddenly give more money? I'm so confused, none of this makes any sense whatsoever.

Hi! Seeing as Grandfathered have always been excluded, it's safe to assume we won't suddenly have to sign up as VIP? That would be pretty ludicrous!

Hi Folks,

Thank you for voicing your concerns. I know this is a big change.

If you already signed up for VIP before the Tiered VIP program launched, you are all set. You don't need to sign up for VIP again.

But if you never signed up for VIP at all, then you will be required to purchase Platinum or Diamond VIP to receive Earn Money payouts.

It just seems like IMVU just want to keep losing creators to other platforms. Their best creators like that. Most of them are already on secondlife. This is going be a big lost for IMVU. This platform is going become Ghost or no longer profitable for IMVU because there really hardly any adult users left. Most all the adult left IMVU because of poor management and the choices this company makes. Personally I advise the remaining of the creators who haven't left to take your work else where like the rest of us have done. This company has never valued its creators it has always finically depended on the back of creators. They take move then half of the profit of sales and now they want to still figure a way to take more money from you. They use us as cash mules. It be interesting to see their responds but they not going budge they never do. There other platforms where you dont have to give over half of you earning to your work. Second life is one of them their creators do not have to worry about not cashing out all their money. You can not sit here and take all the profit and expect people to be so stupid to pay your vip to create or to get there own money. Every time you take a profit from my sales I have already paid you. You keep leaving us with nothing. Nah I'm good on your VIP I am not paying ever. I am going to stay a grandfather account. If you take my ability to cash out I will seek legal council because that was not the agreement to the grandfather accounts.

Here I sit with 10 accts - all grandfathered. If this is the case - I think its time for me to retire. Been considering it anyways. Im not going to pay VIP for ten accts- now if Imvu wants to let us combine our accts that will be amazing because its become a full time chore to keep up with all his for tiers at this point- Id love an option to combine all 10 of my accts into one.

@RigsK​  Can we have some clarification on this for us Grandfathered Creators. Sales have tanked so badly the last few years that this will be a serious hit on alot of us and determine the rest of our deving careers. We need specific clarification. Some of our grandfathered accounts have invested over a decade with this company. This really cant be how its going to end.. Tears!!!

I wonder, who comes up with all that crazy nonsense? Our earnings have declined by half within the past 1-2 years anyway, and now this? Not cool! Many of us creators depend on this income, many creators are unable to work (or have a job) and this income keeps them alive.

they literally leave grandfathered accounts out of everything so this is no surprise honestly, and any company REQUIRING you to PAY to receive your income is super shady.

After re reading it yep we going to need vip, well that is the end of my imvu creating. I pay 30 percent tax, so i would get hardly anything from my creating. This will now be the end of a lot of devs, i think imvu has just signed it death.....

They specifically said - "This does not include legacy Creators who signed up for VIP before the Tiered VIP system launched." It doesn't actually mention grandfathered accounts who do not need any kind of VIP.
