This for sure is a business expense and will require proof of this expense from IMVU by requiring this.

I am just sick and tired of all the changes. i have had a fear they would do something along these lines of and i wish were just a nightmare. IMVU doesn't care who this effects. only want to line their own pockets... Sinful greedy pigs. I feel like they just want imvu to be no more. I really enjoyed my years here making the friends i have, That i will miss the most. Imvu has signed it's death warrant.

You can be sure..if they are implementing this..they've already looked up the legal ramifications to make sure their asses are covered and can do it. It's mind boggling to think you'd be able to charge someone to get their hard earned paycheque every month.

I won't be paying...to get paid..plain and simple. I stopped creating in 2019 and moved to Second Life like so many before me...why? Tired of working for hours or days on items and having to sell them cheap..so I could be competitive with other items in the catalogue. IMVU already takes at least half when I sell an item..which leaves me about 100-150cr..litterally PENNIES, for the amount of time and effort I would put into my products. And I'm NOT one of those zero-change derive creators. I actually MAKE my textures from scratch..and that's not something you can do in just mere minutes. I've been a part of IMVU since 2006, and back then there was NOTHING in the catalogue for items for users to buy. I spent 13yrs, producing quality items for this site only to be screwed around at every turn. Not going to do that anymore. Not when IMVU has given NOTHING back to me, or other creators.

• there are still bugs plauging this site that were here back in 2006, that have never been address or fixed.
• you still can't prevent other creators from stealing our work, textures, icons etc
• you implemented Peer Review and then told creators WE had go through and pass and fail items so they would be seen in the catalogue, yet no one was ever paid for this. (slave labour)
• you've outsourced your Customer Service overseas and half of the reps copy and paste you whatever answer best represents the issue you are having, and half of them don't understand the issues, because they have never used the program. Therefore your issue rarely gets resolved.
• you did away with credit resellers, forcing users to buy your credits at an inflated rate, which then opened up a black market of fraudulent credit resellers and we pay the price by having transactions revered because of these fraudulent credits floating around the system
• you made it mandatory to have VIP if you wanted to make anything or be a creator on the site, except for those of us who were legacy/grandfathered in.

Now you want those of us who have supported this site.. created your vast inventory for customers to use and enjoy on this site, who have literally been making PENNIES for years to now PAY for the money we so rightfully deserve for all the time and work we put into them? Are you out of your minds? I'm not going to pay $10 a month to be able to cash out $50. What more do you people want.. our BLOOD?!?! You've gotten our blood...sweat...and tears... for YEARS...and this is how you show us you're thankful for the work we've done for this site?

I have almost 18k products in my catalog, and if it takes me a month.. or more to hide all my products..I'll do it. What I won't do, is let this company make any more money off of me..my products or derivables. If IMVU thinks things are bad now, then they are about to get worse when half of their creators and products go missing, and all that is left is zero-change derives and poor quality items for those who still stay on the site.

For over 18yrs, IMVU has basically been running a sweat-shop of creators, using them to flood their site with products to entice users to stay and new users to join. I'm not going to pay for money I EARNED, that I worked for and slaved for. Enough is ENOUGH!!!

This sickens me. I can't believe this is happening!! This is how i pay my internet... My meds... other bills... I am at a loss and heartbroken for us all. Imvu is being GREEDY!

Also, are you planning on paying out the people that have a high pending balance before making them buy VIP to get their earned income that they already earned... but can't receive due to Cap?? I bet thats a no.

Yeah, I don't like this at all.

As someone who probably doesn't make a lot of credits to make money anyway, this probably doesn't affect me currently. However, it does deter me greatly from wanting to make what I do as source of income if I ever wanted to get serious. I'm also of the opinion that it's shady practice to pay to be paid, and this doesn't sit right with me at all.

I do feel for Grandfathered Creators who have stuck around boycott after boycott, and still make enough credits to get paid. People shouldn't have to pay a minimum of $120 USD/year for just that. Yeah, everything else would be looked at as a bonus, but being paid for your work should not be a quirky perk for VIP.

This is theft.

Anyone who has over 1k products wouldn't be able to easily just blank their entire stores though - plus I agree with Polystyrene, it's not cheap or easy to just quit and go elsewhere for everyone.

I can't afford to just up and leave. Setting up a new business takes a lot of time, work, and money. Am I just supposed to last all that time with no income?

we are the majority on IMVU this company will not survive with out us. you cant make them bend to us unless we just leave and take all are product with us that means blanking out are whole shops like the creators who left did when they did the first boycott only this time we don't ever come back.

I am so glad I already set myself up on another platform. Because IMVU honestly dont care if we complain are complain just tells them we going stay and put up with it. They will respond better when the rest of you who are still actively creating here leave with the rest of the great IMVU creators to secondlife we will help are own get started over here. YOU all are talented and you deserved to be paid what your worth leave this place go where you will be value. MY name is the same on secondlife. If you have question how to get started come on over and look me up or look me up on facebook. The first wave of creators who actually left and didnt accept the masa are doing quite well and have really upgraded secondlife experience. Most adult users have left to follow their fav creators you dont even have worry about losing customers. most them have sl accounts already they will follow you. they do not care about us and they never will here on imvu.

Its really sickening. I have defended this place for years and for what? They just can go back on what we were told.
