Reposting my response in this thread because I want to be SEEN!

The catalog of fresh new talent has been shrinking to a point of no growth. There are barely a handful of mesh makers left. This decision is tearing apart the core of what is keeping IMVU afloat. Who will want NFTs if no one is creating anything new? What happens then?

I strongly disagree with IMVU's decision to start charging creators for their earnings and I feel deeply offended.

Imvu you're so unfair to all the creators since they are the ones earning you money not anyone else your nfts are already a joke at this point because you over exploited it and nobody really values them anymore with all the quests you do as they became to many and vcoin lost its value too at least let your creators breathe as I know so many creators that already left the app from when you did the vip division and now creators can't let themselves pay this much money to withdraw their own fairly earned money and the fees and rules are not helping already low sales since way before yalla your iconic shop creator left more and more people will leave not because of bullying not because of low promotion bit because their favourite creators left the app for sl or sims i hoped this app would have a wonderful future but your greediness is just over the roof and many creators just like on the save the creators protest will just disappear not create anymore and just get their money and when its all done just leave imvu WAKE UP YOURE SINKING YOUR OWN SHIP ​

Yeah I'm with you on that, give us better VIP options.... Peer in seconds, fix IMVU studio... I bet that wont happen..

This is very disappointing indeed. If MASA would go away and I could take my money out in larger chunks less frequently, this wouldn't be as much of an issue, though still rough.

Connecting all of my accounts to a single pay account would also be very much worth it. Less paperwork for IMVU staff as well.

Shocker, no update from the IMVU team. Is this to just save potentially $6m a year on the payout system? $10 per active creator (last number I saw was there are 50k of us who were active) is a nice chunk of cash back!

At the end of the day, NO I will not pay to receive my HARD earned cash. This entire stupid update is insane, I don't get what's happened for this to actually go through. What legal loopholes were found?

All this site has done is treat us like absolute BULL.

Legitimately the most insane business I've ever witnessed, to say we're not acknowledged as human beings but machines for this stupid website is a massive understatement.

SO over this site. If creators have the option to leave, get out before the crap hits the fan.

You wanna kill us off SO badly. For what reason is beyond me.

If the guys had just one meeting a day where they took ANY of our thoughts into consideration, things would be so much different.

Those who run this site don't know a thing about creating, again shocking. They don't know what it is to be a creator.

I've been waiting for my sales to completely die off, almost there then I'll officially be out. 16+ years and look at what its done. Nothing.

Not only has this site ruined my bank, my career in digital creating, but I'm sure i'm one of many who can confirm it's been the biggest burden on their mental health.

To those of you who are struggling to get out, please google other options.

Secondlife has an AMAZING community for all of us who hopped on over, they have been a huge help to get us all started.

Meshers, mesh and sell on Payhip/Gumroad etcetc. Allow rights to use on multiple sites.

VRChat has a GREAT creator team behind the scenes - 10/10 for them.

ZEPETO - I don't know much about this one, but I believe you can start up as a texture artist (again not 100% sure)

As for someone who often make your VIP bundles, this announcement saddens me. I know that for most of us creators, any type of gifts don’t really matter unless it’s in cash. We rarely even shop for our own clothes. We mostly create and not chat.

So what does being VIP even means to us creator? Because I feel not a Very Important Person whenever payouts take time to get and most of the time, late. I can’t even live chat with CS. My sales are having a dive despite of creating new stuff. I am trying so hard to cut my expenses because prices are high everywhere. But here we are with a total of $50 going to be added to my monthly bill.

I am always loyal to IMVU, whenever someone says they are moving I always choose to stay and find a way to adapt. But I’m afraid to say that I must consider taking chances somewhere else as well as a backup plan because IMVU pays everything in my life and losing it will make me go broke, lol, so hope you understand.

PS.

Call this something else because being VIP is becoming standard to all and doesn’t have the special essence to it anymore.

Well, I've already started hiding items in my catalog. I WILL NOT give this company one more cent of my money. There is a point at which you have to take a stand and say.. ENOUGH. Next thing they'll be taking ALL that you make. Why make it easier for them? Everyone whines and complains yet they let them continue to use us. I'm DONE. The only way they get the point is if you hit them where it hurts.. their bank accounts. They have no problem taking money out of the hands of disabled and low income creators, without a thought. Without us, and our catalogs...they have nothing. And NOTHING...is what they will now get from me.

IMVU would literally be without creators... You guys haven't noticed how many people (creators especially) have migrated to Secondlife and Sims content? As well as consumers... Alot of people are getting tired of this IMVU has the nerve to put their workers through. Or just simply being money hungry... ie these new VIP tiers...Why should creators have to jump through loopholes and smoke and mirrors just to get their earnings that you guys already take a HUGE chunk out of ANYWAYS... IMVU needs to learn to have compassion for their creators or else everyone will leave this sucky platform.

@Nums​  No my Queen account is a Grandfathered account and didn't get a message. Only thing I can think is they are just sending messages to accounts that are currently pulling cash,, IDK Though that is just speculation,
