I signed up when i first joined imvu does that mean people who have done this can still create and not pay vip.

i hope masa disappears it never made sense in the first place, like your holding hostage of our money AND now trying to make us pay to get our money, what in the world. It's already annoying my MASA goes up and down every month...

If we are going to have to pay to access our income then MASA needs to go. You can't make us pay and then cap the amount we can withdraw also. It's unethical.

I'll bet you this was come up with to try and shut out the creators who effectively left IMVU, but were smart enough to keep their shops open and not deny themselves their earnings. I've been a creator for maybe fifteen years and IMVU has been killing our ability to make a decent profit via death from a thousand cuts. My earnings from their high years back are now maybe 15% of what they used to be.

But I'm also not shocked. How many products are in the catalog? They only need a few superstar creators at this point. A new user could shop in the catalog for ten years and find what they want. No amount of creators leaving IMVU or shutting down their shops at this point are going to undercut their earnings via people spending credits.

I wonder why theres been no repsonses.. hmm I'm going to ask again, is this even Legal?? to Pay to get your hard earned money.... Also, what about the pending balances due to MASA?? Is Masa going away since we are paying... to get paid?? What is going to be fixed??

That is why there is VIP Gold, Platinum and Diamond :)

Diamonds have artificial scarcity and their stature/price was made up by a company.

This decision needs to be rethinked IMVU. You have lost most of your talented creators over the years due to you lack of support to your creators. I figure the company is suffering a lost because of it. Because these creators customer ( and mines ) followed they fav creators to other platforms. Which I am sure has effected the money that IMVU is making. Your solution to solved that is to make IMVU place people want to create again. Doing the samething over and over again is insanity. You keep over charging your creators to cover your financial struggles as a company. How has that work out for your company. Be honest with yourself. I know your numbers is low because of it. If you do not fix the relationship of this company with the creators you are going to lose the Good ones who have stay after the new cash out program became a thing when the vents account became Grand father accounts. You really honestly do not have many talent creators who are actively left. I think you should really consider what you creators are telling you. Figure another way to mark up your financial lost your are experiencing. Because as you can see most are willing to actually leave this time and not come back and take their work with them. This time will be easier because other creators can help them get started on other platforms.

I am one of those creators that set up on secondlife. I join sl 6 years agao because of IMVU was not paying me. One of my customers who loved my products was already on second life and pushed me to join. They told me you make so much more money if you go to second life with your work. They where right I make more and I can cash out my money with no issues.

My shop will no longer be avail If this VIP goes into effect. I have no need for credits. I need my money. The credits that I got left with that sitting on my account that cant cash out and the income that been coming in. I do not have these issues creating on second life I get ever dime that I earn to me.

You would think anyone with an ounce of a brain cell that worked for IMVU would read this thread and realize what they have done. Veteran creators leaving, retiring for other platforms no longer creating all thanks to IMVU's greed. WELL DONE! You have achieved what you set out to do. Shortly there will be noone left . You got your wish

@RigsK​ Can you provide us with the evidence that this is actually legal? I can't think of a single business that actually forces charges to withdraw peoples pay.

Creators, If you pay it once half way through the month, you can get two payments, since we are entitled to withdraw from the first of the month.

If we all unionised and stopped making VIP items, IMVU would have to either create the VIP monthly items themselves (haha) or change VIP, or, realise that this decision is a step too far.

Personally, while this stands, I won't be making any more products for IMVU, I have always appreciated when IMVU had reached out for my services, but I can no longer support a company that treats it's content creators so badly.

It's just that every single time IMVU decides to announce their new scheme, it's everything but beneficial to us creators. I can't even remember the last time IMVU actually said we appreciate you all. Some may say the 25% increase in MASA when covid first hit, but even then MASA shouldn't exist in the first place. Plus this was taken away anyway.

We're trapped at every point, trying to earn above a certain threshold, trapped, trying to withdraw our money, trapped, trying to get a payout, alot have been trapped, consistent sales, trapped, a real income without majority of products given away for free without us having any say, trapped.... need I go on.

We're hit with a barrier every single time
