I'm grandfathered, am I going to have to pay for VIP to receive my own money?

I have never purchased VIP, and taking $20 (2 accounts) out my already extremely low payout since IMVU's financial collapse for our creators is the biggest kick in the teeth.

Can you please address if you are going to pay out the pending balances that are "pending" and were earned before this "July" crap is happening. I already know the answer, but I would like to know how is that even legal? Holding... someone's pay..hostage... Pay to be paid.. monies that were earned prior.

When are we getting a raise? When are we going to benefit for being the backbone of Imvu, actually the whole dang body at this point..

This is not a trolling or baiting post, we just want what is due and right. Why not actually make us happy? Do something for us as a whole as a community.

I understand IMVU is a business, but developers make it a business.

@shopdaisylogo they take us all for a joke this why I say even to those who still holding on to they shop at some point enough is enough and some point you need to know when to jump off the ship that sinking or sink with it this is madness.

@RigsK We understood the first time this is feeling gaslighting here. Because we not stupid we understood what you said. We are saying we will not pay to cash out we would rather fight the company as a collective legally for are money then to pay you company another dime to create. You can go back and tell IMVU they can shove they VIP scheme we not buying it we leaving. Good luck with that.

they will just go in the shop an take it they have done that before. the only way to stop that is for everyone to hide they product and none of us going do that as a collective so that just not going work.

For the few who can't seem to grasp why other creators are upset, let me give a simple analogy.

You're a 23 year old working for Walmart. One day, Walmart tells you that they'd be glad to pay you, but you have to buy a 24 pack of Depends adult diapers in order for them to transfer the money into your bank account or cut you a physical check. For clarification, you have no bladder issues and no one in your family needs Depends, so this purchase is absolutely worthless to you; just as some people feel about the VIP program.

Well one of my shops is set to display only and that was my credit shop to bouce up credits for deving when needed... Looks pretty to window shop but its worthless,

My guess would be so you can withdraw the current balance without VIP but can't set the slider to earn money.

So in short, it's still going to happen, just the impact might be "lessened" somehow.

Could you please explain why IMVU thinks it is ok to make people pay to access their income?
