We are currently having an issue with the most recent IMVU for Mac version. As a temporary workaround while we are working on a permanent fix, you may follow these instructions:
STEP 1. Log out from your Chat Software, and close the program.
STEP 2. Open FInder > Go. Select Go to Folder (Shift+Command+G), and go to ~/Library.You should type this address exactly, as by default the Library folder is hidden.
STEP 3. Go to ~/Library/Application Support/IMVU/HttpCache .
STEP 4. Delete everything and restart the IMVU Chat Software. This should cause the thumbnail images to show again.
