In addition to IMVU Classic, Homepage messages are a great way to communicate with friends. You can make the message public, so that other people can read it, or you can set the message to private so that only you and the recipient can read it. Here are some instructions on sending messages:
Sending a Message to Someone From Their Homepage
STEP 1: Go to www.imvu.com, and then login to your account. If you are having problems logging in, click here.
STEP 2: Look under My Friends then click the avatar link of your friend that you want to send a message to.
STEP 3: Click the Visit Homepage link.
STEP 4: Click Send Message located at the upper right corner of your friend's homepage.
STEP 5: Enter your message in the field provided then click Send.
Please take note that all messages, once deleted, cannot be recovered.
