IMVU Mobile gets better! With the latest release, you can now add Captions to the pictures you post on the Feed.
Captions allow you to add personalized texts to your 2D or 3D photos. Say something witty or fun, and add the power of words to your images! Captions can be added to photos taken in the Photobooth, and they can be entered after selecting a filter.
If you want to edit a caption you can do the following:
STEP 1. Find your photo post and tap "... " (More Options).
STEP 2. Choose Edit Caption.
STEP 3. Make the edit, then tap the Save button on the upper-right corner.
To delete the caption, you can follow the same steps. Simply delete the caption when editing it, and save the empty caption. Don't hit the Delete button under the options, as this would delete the post itself.
Can I type anything I want on the Captions?
Yes, as long as they conform to our Terms of Service and Virtual Goods Policies.
If you find that a caption violates our rules, you may report them using the following steps:
STEP 1. Find the post you wish to report, and tap "... " (More Options).
STEP 2. Tap on Report Post. You will be asked to choose a reason for reporting.
STEP 3. Tap on the Report button to confirm.
Is there a character limit?
Yes. There is a 280-character limit. You will receive an error message once you exceed this. Also, you cannot break the text into multiple lines (using the Enter key).
Can I add URLs?
You may, but in the current release they are not hyperlinked. This behavior is set to change in future updates.
