How to do Actions/Triggers in Chatroom

All users can enjoy several actions available while inside the Chatroom.

Note that AP and VIP special actions are exclusive to the IMVU Classic (IMVU Client)

Are Actions different from Triggers?

Yes, Actions are movements that come with the avatar, or done with another avatar while Triggers are movements that come with products or items worn by avatars.

On IMVU Mobile

STEP 1. Log in to your account via IMVU Mobile App.

Don't have the mobile app yet? Download here.

STEP 2. Join the room where you want to do the Actions or Triggers.

STEP 3. Inside the room, you will see the emoji icon at the bottom-left part of the screen. Tap on this emoji icon to see actions or triggers you may use.

STEP 4. Select The action or trigger you want to do from the list. Hit the Send icon to perform.

Remember: All users inside the room can perform solo actions or triggers. If you want to do a group trigger, you need to choose a specific user on who you want to perform the action or trigger with inside the room.

Note that you will not be able to do a specific action or trigger with a user who is already doing an action or trigger with another user.

On IMVU Desktop

STEP 1. Log in to your account via IMVU Desktop.

STEP 2. Join the room where you want to do the Actions or Triggers.

STEP 3. Inside the room, you will see the emoji icon at the bottom-left part of the chat box. Click on this emoji icon to see actions and triggers you may use.

STEP 4. Select The action or trigger you want to do from the list. Click the Send icon to perform.

Remember: All users inside the room can perform solo actions or triggers. If you want to do a group action or trigger, you need to choose a specific user on who you want to perform the action or trigger with inside the room. You will not be able to do specific action or trigger with a user who is already doing an action or trigger with another user.

On IMVU Classic (IMVU Client)

STEP 1. Log in to your IMVU Account.

No access to IMVU Classic yet? Install it now.

STEP 2. Make sure that Action you want to do inside the Room has been enabled.

You can enable or block actions by going to your Account Setting. Under VIP Preferences, you will see the list of attack and flirt animations. Click the box of the action you want to enable. If the box is unchecked, this means you have blocked this action.

STEP 3. Log in to your account on the IMVU Classic Client and join a room.

STEP 4. While inside the room, right click your avatar. From there you will be able to see the list of Actions and Triggers you may use. Select the action or trigger you want to do from the list.
