Hi Creators,

This is an update to the original post, just to make things more clear.

 

There are two issues going on.

 

1 - Failed Payout June 6 - We experienced a technical issue with payouts. All payouts were initiated but failed, and the money was put back on each Creator's Earn Money balance. 156 Creators were affected. If you see an issue with your approved payout, please request another payout today and the team will put a priority on processing it. 

 

2 - Mistaken Payout June 7 - if you received a payout on June 7 between 1pm and 2pm Pacific Time those payments were made by mistake. Please don't cash them out. We're working through the issue right now.

I filed a payout request in early June, IMVU sent the wrong amount by mistake (claiming it was mixed up with a previous 2015 to 2016 payout). IMVU demanded I return the funds which I did thru PayPal. Now on Aug 1 I filed another payout request, IMVU failed the request AND took the amount out of my balance from their previous mistake. I already returned the amount thru PayPal, they had no reason to fail this payout request, and no right to take funds out of my balance. I've filed a help Case #04779804 and the status is still 'new', could someone escalate the case. Thank you.

Oh and now since I couldn't pay it back they are keeping the taxes of 88 $ and then taking it from my balance.....im so done with this...​

Ok so now that I got contacted about this and explained they took my balance and will keep doing so intill it's all paid but they say I owe 294$ but only got 205$ since I'm from Sweden and imvu take the 30% in taxes to hold...ans now they want me to pay that back too even tho I didn't get those 30% ... ...why not just stand for your mistakeand let it be......not like you can't afford it taking the majority of our earnings as it is ​

Got No information what so ever about this.found this randomly now looking through the byggs since I lost money now How hard is it for you to send out a message or email to the accounts that was affected...also now the current balance I had waiting to be requested out is gone.! And I have not made a request for it and yet the balance is gone ​

@RigsK​  - I've messaged you as well - I had received 3 payments sent to 3 accounts and sent back all 3 payments and received confirmation from the Payout team that the funds were received. This morning 2 of the 3 accounts have had the money removed AGAIN from my available balances!! I'm waiting a payout pending, but now that IMVU has removed the money from my available balances, my available funds are far less than what I've requested. Please advise ASAP!

The amount I kept was deducted from my balance, as anticipated, but the ticket still says "Pending Agent." Is this ever going to get fixed? Is it going to screw up my next payout request?

I received the email and did what I was supposed to do. I requested a payout 2 weeks ago. It still says Pending Agent. I've had an unanswered Help Ticket for a couple of days now. I'm generally a pretty patient human, but like most humans, I rely on money for survival. Please help get this moving. I'd greatly appreciate it.

my request for payment failed on June 6, on June 7 I made a new request for payment, on June 14 it became a pending agent, on the same day I received a note to send a copy of my Id for identification , I did it 3 times, but my request for payment is still pending agent, it's been more than 10 days since I asked for the blanket, is this priority called?

I still have a payout request that's been "Pending Agent" for a week now. I've filed two help tickets. One Friday afternoon where I was essentially told "tough luck there's nothing I can do for you" and one yesterday in which I was told the payout team had been requested to handle my payout. Still nothing. What am I supposed to do to get this process moving? I have bills to pay that are going to be late in the next several days, which means late fees and broken payment arrangements for me. Does IMVU intend to help me cover those extra costs or is just more "tough luck"?

It took 10 days to get my payouts in the end.

It still took 2 further days to get my tickets answered and new payouts put out, I wouldn't call that prioritised.

I'm still not over the fact that IMVU took the time to send out emails about accidently sending money but not notifying anyone else that they might not get paid this month if they don't request new payouts. There's barely any of us that turned up out of 156 people, so i'm willing to bet there's still people sitting there waiting for a payout to turn up that isn't even on the way.

 

Hoping there's a thorough investigation happening over this, ensuring that it won't happen again anytime soon.

I just don't understand why this company is so hellbent on ensuring creators are constantly beaten and broken here.

This situation has just been glanced over and we are supposed to just deal with it as always. Things like this SHOULDN'T happen, and if they DO, some form of apology or reassurance it was a one time thing should be clear. I really just can't get my head around it.

Honestly, I think you're just screaming into the void here. IMVU has had so many chances to take responsibility for this and countless other issues. They never do. At this point, I don't think they ever will. I've already begun migrating to other platforms and I strongly suggest other creators do the same. IMVU is not going to last much longer at this rate I don't think, they've shot themselves in the foot so many times now there's no toes left to blow off.

There's 3 things to say about this situation:

 

 

1/ Issues happen ! Even critical issues happen. This close to 2 weeks for many creators not having been paid is a critical business issue.

 

2/ When such a critical issue happens it's up to IMVU to fix it. The proposition to ask creators to write a new request doesn't seem fair at all. I'm thinking of all the creators who didn't find this discussion thread and are anxiously wondering if IMVU is not going out of business because they are not paying their creators... It's critical to me that this situation is fixed during the week-end and that all the creators that have not been paid be paid on monday.

 

3/ The consequences of this issue must be anticipated. The first one I see is that it's of course not acceptable that the 30 days before asking for a new payment apply this time and that the next payment request must be accepted by the end of this month for a monthly payment (for those using this type of demand) by the beginning of next month. It's the minimal IMVU should do here.

 

In those times where the inflation is absolutly stunning all over the world. I'm seing prices take 50% on common goods in France over the past few monts, IMVU needs to wake up and show some respect to its creators about this issue with creators payments.

 

 

Finally, I do hope that IMVU use this critical issue to focus on prioritising revenue increases of their active pro creators. Offering all users to become a creator and redirect the sales towards the mass of users opening their little amator shop to the expense of the pro active creators has been such a destructor of value added that I can only pray someone at IMVU with some sens of responsability and compassion for its creators does change this paradigm for good.

I placed two request, the first failed and the amount bounced back. The second one has been unassigned for 7 days now and in total I been waiting 11 days and I haven't heard anything. What should I do now? I need to pay bills in real and I'm already late with them!

@RigsK​ I have had a help ticket open since 04/06/22 on this with NO RESPONSE since 05/16/22 and it is NOW 06/10/22... nearly a MONTH with no response... I cannot submit a normal payout request because it is below the $50 minimum AND you all changed things so I can't earn cash now without VIP even though I was able to for a couple of YEARS.

 

I just want what I'm owed in my available balance so I can delete this account.

side note: finding THIS forum post was not easy. A homepage message to ALL creators would be smart. I thought maybe you were rewarding me for some item you falsely removed from my catalog or for being a 16 year user in this site. MANY people are probably thinking the same thing with no communication from you.
