More than half of all Internet users in the world use Google Chrome as their browser of choice. Google is about to push a change in version 68 in July that will cause a lot of problems for sites that aren't using secure HTTP. As part of our efforts to comply with this change, beginning this Thursday, 6/28, we are going to begin restricting all custom coding on imvu.com homepages to include only secure HTTP addresses (i.e. HTTPS).

If you use custom coding on your homepages, most of these URLs will likely work if you just edit every HTTP address to be HTTPS. Some of these URLs will not work with HTTPS and will need to be changed. If you do nothing, the custom coding on your page will likely break and not display correctly.

We have made changes to these three help articles on the subject:

Here is a link from Google Security about why these changes are being made: https://security.googleblog.com/2018/02/a-secure-web-is-here-to-stay.html
