We know that as of late, there has been questions and confusion regarding MCG manipulation. What is acceptable? What crosses the line...etc.?
To help address this, we've created an initial Guidelines document that we hope will help.
Please give it a read and then provide us with any feedback/questions you have below - so that we may address them and continue to add to and update information that will guide your fabulous creations down the right path!
If items are not flagged they will stay in the shops, because imvu rely on its members to do all the work. After their poor work ethics on how they treat developers i wont be flagging a thing. Imvu you can clear up your own mess.

i do my texture 1at on clothes. then use the erase tool to cut it out, turn it white, then place it on a plain black background, making what shows white, what doesn't black, the same exact size.

so because some people cheated making AP mesh into GA it is ok to think just make IMVU AP? And a huge catalog can not be separated into the two groups, for our convenience in what we prefer to wear? i guess cheating wins?

I agree with you, shopping as a woman who prefers to be GA dressed should mean if i turn off AP i do not shop with it in the way.

this is a game for all ages and all types of people. Not just for those enjoying AP. Keep it real, why do we all have to see AP in the catty if there are two distinct sections GA and AP. Why is it ok some meshers have shrunk the modesty guides and that means if we do not like it we can just leave. ????

wow i can see how this is very hard for everyone involved. I am so sorry. The problem is the ones who made the mesh you created from cheated both you and many others by trying to slip in AP items into the GA catalog. No I do not understand why they would do that, why not just put the original mesh in AP. I really hope we can find an answer to this. HELP PLEASE , maybe ask IMVU to replace the credits you lost with this cheat.

Being the person I am, I downloaded the pictures from the other thread linked at the top... I made up three frames from the pictures, skinny top/bottom, busty top/bottom and combined the 2 back bottom pictures into one frame.. I then submitted the 3 frames as GA... the skinny and busty frames are approved at GA. Someone filed a complaint on the back bottom picture and CS rerated the frame to AP ...... i challenged the rating and this was the response....
"We have reviewed your product and have found that it violates our Minimum Coverage Guidelines (MCG) because it has been manipulated in such a way that it deliberately avoids displaying any MCG Color Skins.We have created an article explaining Manipulated MCG products in further detail and we highly encourage you to check it out:"

@shopdaisylogo Agreed. At the very least there needs to be a lengthy grace period for creators and meshers to correct the products before action is taken considering IMVU's former body-shaming stance on these meshes and their use of these meshes in their own advertisements.

I am not a mesh make..but have recreated (colored) the meshers..i am not experienced with the meshes..but some that does have the concerns and yes it concerns me to think i was do a good job with a Ga..product then imvu coming back on me..because it was ap.. when it was not ap when i recolored texture. what is bothering me now. is the meshes are getting bigger body wise.when some do not like big bodies for their avatars. I for one am proud of my accomplishments of my avi..then all of sudden the game has changed. Smh. destroying something we enjoyed is not a good thing. so good l uck..and God speed...watch they will come back and delete..
