Hello, Creators!

We know that as of late, there has been questions and confusion regarding MCG manipulation. What is acceptable? What crosses the line...etc.?

To help address this, we've created an initial Guidelines document that we hope will help.

Please give it a read and then provide us with any feedback/questions you have below - so that we may address them and continue to add to and update information that will guide your fabulous creations down the right path!

Thank you!

@Aislinn i am probably up there with you on that, but i think company's that want people to earn them money must treat them with the gratitude they deserve. A company goes under if feedback isn't given, they are left wondering why did so many leave.

@Fleurty Why on earth would they want to change things, penalizing works in imvu favor, it gets changed to ap even though it shouldn't you have to reimburse customers out of your pocket. You appeal to imvu that it has been done wrong, if it goes to someone who knows what they are doing it gets reversed back. Customers who didn't have ap lose the item, you lose your creds and don't get them back. You may have to purchase more credits because of the hit on your creds. People who have lost the item go and purchase something else.

@jazzKat Imvu had no problem using these meshes to entice young people on this site. The blame lies with them, you can not use an item you are against for your own means, then tell the the devs its a no no. When meshers requested guidance and some got the go ahead as ok. This is a clear example of lack of departments communicating with each other. Maybe they all should have got together via video chat and set aside some better behavior because by using these it gave the thumbs up that these were ok. After all imvu is setting the example or is it...

So imvu you want developers to make you money to pay your wages, Supply the body meshes for the shapes, train up staff to learn to bump items, they would have seen that the right coverage would have been applied for the trousers.

Lift the vip for grandfathered because here we all are giving lots of information that is valuable, without us you would have no feed back.

The shops will come to a grinding halt losing you revenue because devs will have to go in and change the larger meshes coverage. Loss for imvu when lots of items with red not covered on mcg are still in the shops.

Do you really want to lose cash when you have clearly used these meshes to entice young people.

Nipple effects creating see through image clearly shown for promoting imvu also on FB.

How will you address if you lose revenue due to changes, will you up the vip I don't think you can afford to lose any more members.

I wasnt going to get involved in this because my shop is a mostly GA shop. Until tonight when I get a notification that an administrator has deemed a perfectly GA pair of jeans to be AP.

IMG_2554As you can see, even through a composite these jeans are not AP. But this is the notification I was sent.IMG_2552There must be an appeal process for administrators that are letting erroneous flags slide on accounts. This is not a TOS violation and the parent product is still rated as GA.

There are people who abuse the flagging system and if the goal here is to try and penalize people that are working hard to bring new and updated products to the table then a serious overhaul of an appeal process to correct what someone deems as inappropriate, when a product has passed as GA not once but twice. We as creators do not rate our own products and the abuse of this system needs to stop.

Kick the kids to their own server and reset their shop to start from 0 products then control that as GA appropriate and leave us adults in the mess. Age verification and AP mandatory on the adult side. Then get proper customer service on the live chat and help, 99,9% of the time I wonder am I talking to a illiterate robot or is it truly a real person, note: English is not even my native language. OR push all the mistakes, troubles etc. as the paying ADULT customers fault and make them try fix the issues where at the end it is you and the kiddos left :) 3rd option sell the company LOL

So after like 4+ years of this being an incredibly common thing you've decided it's finally time to react and starting policing it, holding all creators in the derivation chain responsible. And you don't even have a functional, complete guide for anyone to go off of?

I don't see what could possibly go wrong. Sounds terrific.
