Even if kids were not on here, our GA section is supposed to be safe for work, meaning creators were supposed to keep all the revealing content as AP, not manipulate the rules to slide by, and then get upset when the site takes so long to map out how to stop you. They didn't have to give us this kind of chance when we were supposed to know better in the first place, especially as adults. Going with the flow all these years is a little embarrassing. I wonder if Feed was encouraging people's desires to make clothing that skirted the GA rules.

True Poly, in that aspect (most creators) I do agree with you. I think the concern over "bad actors" is relevant and rightfully so.

Change freaks people out. Especially us/the ones who have been doing things (MCG) the same way for ages. :)

I'm having a hard time finding sympathy for those who knew they were trying to trick the rules. Policy changes always take long in any place, these people knew it was abusing the guidelines. I just wish this was done sooner, instead of waiting until it was so popular that it became a norm.

Thank you so much! This has been long overdue! I hope creators start rerating their items now before the volunteers find and flag them. Will there be a grace period to give them a chance?

I think they should fix the other important things before they worry about this. There are some really bad bugs in the game that need to be adressed more important . The meshes should be fixed for flaws but some ppl like big butts and larger breasts. I have skin texture i add with no nipples that i use if im unsure about a product being to see through or not enough coverage to keep out of trouble but i have been flagged for a GA mesh that they said should be AP. The fault wasnt mine but lesson learned

The classic example of "no real/trustworthy peeson would do that."

It derails any counter points anyone can try to give you, and effectively derails the discussion.​

They fact of the matter is, a big name creator did do this. Im not allowed to name who it was here, but this was an alt of a big name whos still actively creating who did this back in May, and is still making meshes regularly now.

Only this alt was disabled, n​ot their several other accounts.

The issue is now that imvu is addressing it, several months have already passed since the initial incident, and now we no longer see the massively offending meshes and can go back to pretending "no true creator" would do this.

The only thing to be angry with is the fact this change wasnt implimented until it was too late my a long mile.​

No one was against DELTA body removal. What is too much is too much and I am sure everyone knew it will be removed / re-rated to AP. That is not what we are talking about here. We are talking about how because of that period and "wanna earn fast meshers + creators" now suddenly every mesh body is a bit off when it comes to MCG "manipulation"... either if you check boobs or butt... and I am not talking only about big boobs body meshes, if you check body meshes with small boobs and compare with what IMVU is giving us now - you will see that even they are "manipulated"...

So questions are, are we good just to make bigger MCG opa and smaller cleavage for our future products, if yes, how much bigger? Why they can't give us an example so we know we are safe?

If we do change our MCG opa maps with bigger ones, can we still use the same mesh bodies?

Can they leave our old products the way they are because updates to rules are new and bodies - were accepted years ago?

I could add more, but I also wrote it all before, and we need @EMpulse​ to step in, help and give us answers.

If size is their point then they could say - it is size, how size wasn't a problem for several years but is a problem now? Again, yes there were some extreme cases a few months ago, but extreme cases always happen from "want to earn fast meshers and creators". Yet these meshers can't be compared and placed in the same "bag" with other meshers whose bodies have been here for so long. I can't and I won't support the idea of allowing things to happen, seeing them, promoting them, and then waking up from a winter sleep to screw hundreds if not thousands of people who invest their time and money to earn but also to MAKE people stay and enjoy the varieties on the platform.

I mean, we all see products without any MCG in the GA catalog - page 1, product 1... how is that not a bigger problem? So much drama and updating rules over "manipulated" or not mesh bodies that still have MCG opa maps included that are actually covering everything they need to cover...

Wlc 2023, let's cover up because IRL we also roll into a blanket even when we go to a beach for a swim.

Like i said, I grasp the concept lol. 

I can't talk for all creators, but my personal experience has been the following timeline:

I get into a room and someone asks for s*x without asking for age first!

*Idea in my head pops up*.. oh this is adult themed :D okay..Interesting.

Soo.. No ty for the s*x proposition you sweet gentlemen, I am married irl!

Off I go *Signs a gentile song*

Okay well I can mesh, let me try it!

Oh no a big fat wall, everything is now AP, okay lets try and figure out why.. not possible? okay... i see theres kids here, okay ill try to chill on the sexy stuff and make better MCG coverage as requested when i finaly got a answer out of someone that wasnt a pasted message with a recommendation link.

Forum pops up on a subject, reads and sees it might be about me, sees that theres a debate, and tries not to read to no get anxiety attacks, and gets the final score instead.

Ok seems to be ok now, lets move on.

If I may butt in, this change is being implemented because imvu is covering its bases after a massive creator earlier in the year was selling derivables with comically small mcgs, which made it to the front pages in sales, exposing minors to NSFW content, which could have caused massive legal drama for imvu.

Also please go read my intial reply for even more reasons imvu needs to address this.

It IS creators you need to be mad at. They are the reason this even needs addressing.

Look back in this same CC forum log for Nums post on this back in like april or may if i remember correctly.

It was a whole fiasco that many of us had hands in reporting to imvu.

I was one who spent several of my days off my real job in that time frame reporting said meshes to the creator advocate.

If that is the case then they needed to create new body coverage for the new shapes much sooner. They haven't had their eyes closed they even used some of these new shapes and sizes promoting imvu. Sorry no excuses if you run a company you make sure you dot the i and t ..

@jazzKat​ you don't see a point in anything anyone says yet you are still here and making your own points and arguments about things no one asks you about. You don't see a point in IMVU being included in all of this, sticking to the idea that everything is the fault of meshers and creators, no point in making arguments, no point in trying to get answers...

If you are so happy with the situation on IMVU, with all the rules, with MASA, with the payout ratio (FYI payout ratio is same for at least 7 years) why are you here?

Just to counterstrike other meshers and creators? Is that making you happy, not to stand by or next to other meshers and creators?

Next time new changes will again affect Godfather accounts I hope to see you standing in the first row, cheering, giving full support to IMVU's move as much as you are supporting it now.

Why do you make it sound like they have to have a full blown congress and **** just to change a Imvu regulation.

Here right here >> y ou'd have to lobby congress change the regulations, which then allows the ESRB to change theirs, which then ( ALLOWS ) IMVU to change theirs!

No. According to GPT. Nothing has to allow anything. Imvu has nothing to do with them. They have their OWN internal systems not governed by ESRB.
